We are a small home based hobby kennel whose ultimate goal is trying very seriously to strive for breeding that ultimate Pug. , loving disposition is what our ultimate dream Pug will be. Here in Diamond Sands, we believe only The Very Best will do for our breeding program. Ann Seranne described breeding as “combination of art and science, of common sense and intelligence, to which must be added modicum of luck, and tremendous amount of intestinal fortitude.” Breeders have grave responsibilities for the life they creates, living, loving angelic souls which might never have been brought into this world had not a breeder taken it into his/her own hands to mate a certain dog to a certain bitch. Believing in a philosophy that breeding is done solely for betterment of the next generation, to produce something better than our current breeding stocks, to improve the breed towards a better future, we tirelessly try to educate ourselves spending many hours learning pedigrees, going over dogs, talking and learning from those in within our breed and those from outside. This endeavor has allowed us to acquire numerous knowledge from those more experienced as well as those whose breeding we admires. It has also blessed us with lots of new found friendships within dog world.
