🐾 Do you want or need some extra training help? Is your dog reactive? Do they need proper socialization? Help relaxing? Help with basic manners such as jumping and chewing? Help with learning obedience? Help with greetings or loose leash walking? Well, Day Train might be exactly what you are looking for!!
🐾 This is where we take your dog for an entire day of training with the extra perspective of two trainers’ eyes and skills. Dogs will be worked periodically throughout the day on the training goals you have. In between sessions out, dogs will have quiet, down time in a crate sometimes with enrichment and sometimes it’s just good to rest. Any dog accepted into the program must be comfortable in a crate.
🐾 All day train dogs, and their owners must have taken at least one, possibly several private lessons from either of us. Day train sessions will be no good if you, the owners, do not understand the concepts and homework we send home with your dog. We firmly believe that all good training starts in the home, and the stepping-stone work we put in, needs to be maintained by you. The best training tool is a committed owner.
🐾 This is not for dog or human aggression. We need to be able to safely handle your dogs and your dog needs to be comfortable sharing space with other dogs. No dogs will be greeting each other, unless that is a goal of the training. True aggression issues can be worked with in private lessons with either Heather or Katie.
🐾 If you are looking for a “perfect” dog this is not for you. The dogs in our own homes get the zoomies, bark at the doorbell, dig, and are sometimes needy. They are dogs and we let them be just that. They come when called the first time; they walk past dogs, bikes, kids and cars calmly with loose leash. They don't beg or jump. We compete with several of our dogs in various sports, but they all have a great off switch and are great cuddlers. Our dogs are not “perfect” and they get to do 'doggy' things and that is good for them. We don't expect the dogs we own or work with to be robots. We like to focus on teaching them how to let go of stress, relax, make good choices on their own and have lasting respectful relationships.
🐾 We will be running this program out of our own homes and working around our own dogs. Because we want to ensure the safety and health of all dogs in our care, we will be requiring a negative f***l (with negative results for Giardia and Coccidia) and current rabies, DAPP, and bordatella vaccines.
🐾 Depending on where we are in the training program we may take field trips to a park or store. All dogs will be secured in a Ruffland kennel or with a safety harness and seat belt when traveling. Both Heather and Katie are fully bonded and insured.

4 day pkg = $721 (includes tax)
10% discount for second dog in the same household
