Carma (Cat Rescue Maritimes - Saint John Chapter) CARMA is a volunteer non-profit, whose goal is controlling over-population through TNR programs. CARMA is not a shelter, nor do we perform animal control.

We are in need of volunteers, fosterparents, donations and supplies. If you would like to contribute or provide us with feedback, please get in touch with us. We are a registered charity. "If one female produces two litters per year, and if just two kittens per litter survive to reproduce, and none of these cats are ever spayed or neutered, the total population in five years, or 10 generations, mu

ltiplies to 59,049." We ask that a donation of 160$ be given at time of adoption to help us continue our work.All funds go directly back into helping the cats we work with.

Usually this time of year we do our No Home For The Holidays, Food drive for the cats. But it has become easier to do it online through Amazon, or for folks to drop off at 14 melrose st. UGH we hate to even post this. but our account is beyond low. we did alot of colony cats this season, and it drains money fast. right now we have enough to pay maybe 2 more vet bills. so we are here begging that if you can even spare 5$ anything right now would be a huge help. Anything over 20$ can get a receipt. We hate asking for help other then with food. But right now we have no choice. We are also in desperate need of someone who is good at fund raising and coming up with ideas to do so. We need someone to take on that role. Although kitten season should be ending. We are seeing several litters of feral kittens still and working hard to get them in as well as fixing the moms, before it is to cold. If you can help out in any way with moist food, lysine or anything else on our list it would be a huge help. Have an amazing weekend.
