Pracilla the Duck Pracilla the Duck was born with a genetic deformity that requires daily nursing care. This is Pracilla the White Crested domestic house Duck.

She was born on June 26, 2016 with a genetic deformity that requires daily nursing care. She has balance issues and a disorder that makes it hard for her to hold her head up. She takes 3 different medicines daily, but gets lots of treats and love. Despite the disabilities, she seems to be thriving and is... oh so cute! Join us in the daily life of Pracilla the house duck. Pracilla absolutely loves

her daily baths and meal worm treats and quacks loudly when she gets excited for either. She lives indoors with her humans and dogs and has run of the house. She may be special, but that doesn't stop her from being a Diva.

Great news!!!! Lilly went to the avian vet and her leg looks great. We kept her leg bandages clean and dry and she has no infections where her incision is or where her bone pins are. The Vet was very pleased with how the surgery went and how her recovery is going. She still does have a long road ahead because she is still a growing duck. But she is standing in her own and seems to be doing very well at home.
