Near North Animal Control For lost or found dogs in Powassan, Chisholm, Nipssing, and Callander:, call (no cats) 705 724-2676. Dogs must be licensed before being released.

Stray dogs are on impound for 4 days (for owner reclaim), then will be placed for adoption (please see "Adoptions" album). Bail costs depend on the township and vary from $25 to $40, and board is $20 a day.
