The original Roller Ramp was created out of necessity almost 10 years ago. I had just purchased my first home, and made sure I had a fenced in yard for my Dachshund puppy, Red. Knowing I was working full time, I purchased a doggie door for my back yard so he could go in and out throughout the day. After installing the door, I realized that he couldn't clear the jump without assistance. I made a we
dge ramp for him, but then I lost mobility of the door to my new home. I had to find a way for him to safely and conveniently use his Doggie Door, without losing the intended use of the door. A few years later, we took a trip to the Lexington Humane Society and added our Boxer, Bailey, to our family that day. She also uses the ramp with ease. At almost 10 years old each, I notice that they are both in wonderful health, with no back or hip issues. I do believe that the Roller Ramp has helped them avoid injuries. Over the years, I have heard "where did you get that?" or "I need one of those at my house" and the best one... "you should be on Shark Tank" too many times to not put them on the market. If we are the only pet owners out there that have a need for this, then great. We have fixed our problem. But if we are able to help just one pet owner that has the same problem we had, then it will be worth it!
