Update on the kitten that I received messages about! I posted an update on the actual post as well. This baby was found by a 13 year old girl on her way home from school, and being sweet and caring she took the kitten home. The mom cleaned this babies eyes and said they are completely clouded over and injured, and it’s not eating or drinking but they were gently giving it water through the syringe. Because I am not back in the area until tonight, a fellow rescuer and amazing soul, Barbara went and picked up the kitten for me, and after trying to get Steven Swan to help (this is the 3rd time there was an emergency and I could not get them to help- there is always a reason why they can’t at that urgent moment) I spoke with Herkimer County Humane Society a couple times and they offered to help with medicine after seeing the kitten, but then, because they are so amazing- they have committed to taking the kitten!! I am so grateful to them, because as an independent rescuer this was going to be so much for me to take on alone. Anyone that has offered to donate- please donate for this babies care directly to https://www.herkimerhumanesociety.org/ for the kitten!! Thank you to Tracy DeMarco and her daughter for initially rescuing this baby, to Barbara for transporting this baby, and to Herkimer Herkimer County Humane Society for being as incredible as they are!
