Google photos brings up memories every day and with the amount of Tuxy photos I take πππ Bijou (RIP buddy)ππ€π©Ά appears almost daily.
This is one I've always liked, Super Chonk "Bijou" and his apprentice Mini Chonk "Bisou" ππΉππ.
Bayou at her favourite takeaway shop waiting patiently for her order to pass πππ¦π¦ββ¬. ππΊππ.
The Tuxy's enjoying a nice Saturday afternoon in the backyard.

Finally managed to get a good photo of Bisou "loafing" ππΊ. She usually moves if I put the camera too close to her πΈ ππ.
Bayou's wandering history from 27/11 to yesterday involves only 2 wanders (black highlight 27/11 and white highlight 30/11).
Big change from her previous history where she would regularly do up to and over 6kms a day.
Less stress for dad ππππΉ.

Since dad always points out our birthdays, adoption/trapped days we thought it was his turn.
So we picked some cards for his birthday ππΊππΊ he told us not to say how many years but geez he's old ππΉππΉ.

Bayou spending a moment with Bijou today π€π€π.
Because of the tragic circumstances of Bijou leaving us while Bayou was off on one of her multi day wanders. I gave Bijou's "box" a good rub down with Bijou's bedding etc when he "got home" and put in an easy access spot which Bayou regularly nosed around and now occasionally put him on the bed for her. They had an amazing bond and Bayou's bed of preference at night is Bijou's bed π’.

Lazy Tuxy Sunday morning for us while dad watches the last Supercars race for the year. Geez he was happy yesterday when B. Kostecki and Erebus won the championship with a race to go beating SVG (the bad part of a non kiwi dad πΉπΉ).
Adelaide was dad's favourite track to flag marshall at then Indy on the Gold Coast when he flag marshalled.
How does the serenity of a Tuxy lazy Saturday morning turn into a flurry of activity/chaos in a fraction of a second?
Just add a Starling π¦ββ¬ flying into the house through the back door, instant chaos ππΊππΊππ€£.
Dad did manage to rescue and release the Starling outside ππΎππΎ.
Continuing Bisou's "aerial" theme, finally caught her doing her border check from the house π roof ππΊπ.
A flying Bisou again, this time instead of jumping across the gap, she jumped down to the deck almost landing on the camera/phone ππΊβοΈπ.

Guess who was out wandering in yesterday's rain, she got home about 11β’45pm. Needless to say, lazy day today πΎπ§οΈπΎπ§οΈππΊπ.

Plenty of rest for Bayou today after yesterday's wander which was the longest (5kms) she's done for a while and with little sleep/rest during it showing on her tracker record ππΊππΎπΎπΎπΎ.

Where's Bisou, Bayou knows much to Bisou's surprise ππΉπππ.
Think Bayou was going to head off for a wander earlier then it started raining and decided a snooze was a better dry idea ππΊπ€ while Bisou did a short explore on the thin dry patch outside the ranch slider which didn't last long when the wind/rain changed direction πππ.
Dad's non Tuxy "visitors" night time detterants (back and front door), turned on after our purrview (Tuxy curfew). When triggered red solid light comes on along with led flashing lights and ultrasonic sound.
The Tuxy's are not usually box cats, especially Bisou but heaps of interest in the new box ππΊππΊ. Might still have some Florida smells/scents on/in it π.
Tuxy's ππ by torchlight π¦. Had a planned outage during the week, nice change knowing your going to be without power instead of "all" the surprise ones ππ.
I never get tired of watching the Tuxy's use their microchip feeders, Bisou sometimes talks to me before eating ππΊππΊπ.
Bayou's had a busy day and still not home ππΊπΎπΎ while Bisou sleeps the day away ππΈπ€π€ and cuddles chair legs πππ.
Tea time in Tuxy Manor with both happy with their new wet food. Dine Classic pouches, Bayou with the beef and Bisou with the chicken ππΊππΊ.
NO more of the "new" insipid, sickly looking Purina Fancy Feast here unless they go back to their previous recipe.

Tribute to Bijou ππΊπ€π€.
2 years ago today Bijou was savagely attacked by a roaming dog and due to his horrific injuries (description by his vet after seeing the after hours vet report) was PTS 1β’17am the following morning, don't think I've mentioned this before but Bisou was nearly a victim as well.
RIP Bubble Butt, still miss you every day.
Animal control had every chance to provide justice for Bijou as the woman who was "looking" after the roaming dog offered to surrender it and pay Bijou's vet bill (neither happened) and animal control had contact with her but from the ranger up didn't do their job properly, woman moved, dog hidden and I've had no justice, apology or anything from animal control.
If I provide an email address who's willing to email animal control with simply the title as I know I'm far from the only cat owner dissatisfied with animal control. Let's show them the power of social media. Happy if you want to get family, friends etc involved. The more the better.

Finally managed to get Bayou (aka Adventure Kitty) jumping the stream ππΊ. Judging by her Tractive GPS tracker record she does this a few times a day at different parts of the stream
Bisou meet Boulot, Boulot meet Bisou, that went well I think. He's so small β₯οΈππΊππΊ. Now hopefully Bayou comes home tonight, she's been away wandering since Tuesday morning ππ.

Bisou & Bijou having a grooming session last night after they had a good furminator brush during the day. So now looking sharp for Xmas ππΊππΊπ.
Bisou is turning into a real talker since she hardly made a noise for the first 18 months + since becoming a domesticated cat. Tonight's performance was due to being the first furkid in for curfew and tea so she was hurrying me up to "serve" her first before the others came home. As the serving routine that they know is food is put in the microchip feeders, Bayou 1st, Bijou 2nd and Bisou 3rd (the order they adopted me π) unless others are late so the one home first "jumps the queue" ππ²ππ²ππ²π.

Hi speed Bisou - "DAAAAAD one of those bloody Pukeko things started walking towards me while I was exploring beyond the fence" ππ. For our non NZ fans a Pukeko is a Swamphen in Australia and they can be nasty, aggressive buggers.
