Our new Pothos Holder with Quad Tubes are 3d printed from PLA plastic (corn and sugar starch base and tested for years in my own breeding tanks).

These make an ideal way to both propogate a variety of house plants but also to help control bitrates in your aquarium.

A definitive hex design allows for easily tying moss or other plants to any surface of the tubes.

They fit over any rim up to 1 inch wide (up to 55 gallon rimmed tabks and fits and rimless.

They also come with multiple screws to adjust angle/hold in place once over the rim.

I met and have chatted with Rob regularly through our connection in the online shrimp hobby in the USA. Both of us being in a unique position of producing handmade high quality shrimp food for hobbyists and breeders.

Why do we feed "Snowflake" food

It has a couple of really great properties.

It expands or puffs up giving access to all the shrimp.

It provides mycelium growth quickly for shrimp which is not only nutrient dense, shrimp crave it and it is 10% chitin (which is the compound that makes their exoskeleton)

It will not pollute the water and you dont need to remove uneaten food.

Hello All! There is an exciting new section to our website this week.

It will an ever evolving source of knowledge and experience to help the community care for and be successful with their shrimp. I will provide proven ways to utilize our foods, botanicals, plants and any other subjects relative to Shrimp and Plants.

I am taking time and sifting through and editing YEARS of my notes and conversations with others I have had. A Meadowview Aquatics Blog has been a long time coming and I am excited to get more organized when it comes to sharing knowledge and proper use of all items we provide.

Things like our food guide, neocardina and cardina shrimp tank set up and care will follow very soon. Please message me with any questions or ideas that would be good ideas for future blog posts.

Red Steel Caridina Shrimp eating our extremely popular Mulberry Pollen Munch which is composed primarily of organic Bee Pollen and White Mulberry leaves.

We used white mulberry leaves (specifically white) because it is such a nutrient dense source of calcium, magnesium and other trace minerals shrimp benefit greatly from.

Anyone else use cheap sponge filters with suctions cups that stick to the glass (xy- # # # #)

Me too, tons of them. They work great, and they are cheap. The problem is that the suction cups fail after a couple of months and even worse on a tank with some algae on the glass.

I have been developing these for the last couple of days. It is 2 pieces, each with an embedded magnet (which is also epoxy coated), and they are 100% TPU, which is aquarium safe and also a rubber like material that wont scratch glass.

One piece goes around the same k**b that the suction cups are attached too and the other stays outside the tank. It only takes 1 set of them to hold even the large dual sponge filters in place

They fit the small dual and large dual for everyone I own, and I have multiple brands.
