I'm getting more comfortable with my ceiling mounted play area every day. I willingly touched a perch on my avi hang (the white piece next to where I am on my boing). Soon I'll be flying around & landing on it.
Hi Friends! I climbed up on my boing on my own today, which I've started to do more often in the past week. My foster parents expanded my play area quite a bit above my cage. I'm still getting used to my Avi-Hang, which doesn't stay put & swings around so scares me a little bit. I'll get more confident as I get used to it.

Hi Friends! I'm doing so great learning that it pays off to stay on my perch when the humans are eating and quietly eat my own food. AND I am even accepting steamed spinach as a reinforcer. Go me.

Good day, Friends! I'm a whiz when it comes to learning from clicker training! I travel many feet to touch a target now. We've moved on to practicing my inside voice during meals. I'm learning (1) not to scream and (2) to eat my own food when the humans are eating. In the 1st video, I get a click and treat (a bit of my pumpkin slice) after a variable number of seconds of quiet waiting. I yelp when approached after the click so my trainer briefly turns away and gives me another chance (this was allowed at 1st because I *was* quiet and that behavior- or lack thereof- was tagged, but the yelp wasn't going away as of a couple days ago. Foster moms get to make executive decisions). In the 2nd video, I get a click and treat for eating my own food while the human eats theirs. This is going very well! We are about 6 days in.
Hi Friends! It's been a while. I had a fun Halloween and Gratitude Day. Now I am enjoying the aftermath, last night in the form of Indian pumpkin curry. Who knew I liked eating pumpkin (after it being under cool water and the sauce rinsed off).
I'm not sure who's more excited about this CSA delivery- me or my foster mom?
Hi Friends! Long time no see. My foster mom told me I need to produce more content if I ever want to be adopted. Here I am singing in the shower. Ok maybe not singing, but I'm enjoying the heck out of it.
