Today we manned the CCI booth at the NY auto show. This is preshow. She often had people lined up to meet her! She spent so much time interacting with the attendees. Such a trooper. Tail wagging ambassador.

Early Christmas at my sister's house.

Tulip has anemia. They did cytology on a lump. (Negative). Blood test for thyroid (negative). X-ray s. (Negative) Tulip had her tummy shaved for a sonogram. Negative. Her B-12 is low she is getting weekly injections now. They took her off penicillamine. For now the anemia is more concerning. Zinc is prescribed instead. It upsets her stomach, so anti nausea meds next. She still plays at the dog park. She just dislikes having so many vet visits. They love how well behaved she is.

Our tractor style sprinkler jumped the hose and was striking the house. Tulip alerted Ritchie. She really is amazing.

Their Graduation was Memorial day weekend. Yesterday Tulip and Ritchie were at CCI dog park. Got to meet graduate teams for Veterans, who will be graduating Memorial day weekend. Their hearing team graduates.

This morning I told Ritchie when he went to get coffee that I changed the downstairs clocks. He said "WHAT? You changed the locks?" No hearing aids yet. I had to spell c-l-o-c-k-s.

Last night we had reservations at a restaurant for outside dining. We had Tulip with us, and she has been there before. The waiter stopped Ritchie and asked what tasks she has been trained to do, which was fine. He understood that she is a trained hearing alert service dog. But he objected to allowing a hearing alert service dog to enter, because Ritchie was unlikely to require her to alert him while dining! Welcomed to team training, hearing dog. Then 2 weeks of training, with homework and tests! In the end, flew home with Tulip!
