Happy to report that Scottie got adopted! ❤️🐾 He’s such a sweet boy! We took him to meet his new dad in Alabama Friday evening and he was adjusting well in no time.

**Update: We have an adopter!**

I’ve just been contacted about a female cane corso puppy that needs rescue. I’m full but I wanted to reach out to ask if anyone would be interested in giving this sweet girl a home. I will get pictures soon. She will need a hernia corrected but I wanted to have a committed adopter before I could get her. I know cane corso are beautiful dogs and very sweet, but big dogs too. 😍 Please let me know if anyone is interested. I will get pictures soon!

Our daughter’s wedding week is coming up next week and the forecast is showing very low temps. We have some very sweet friends who are covering the rescue, but I would love to find some temporary fosters for some of our babies to get them out of the outdoor kennels. We do have the kennels covered and tarps all around with heat lamps, but the evenings are showing to be really really cold and not all will fit inside and in the indoor kennels. If anyone is interested in fostering one of our Covey babies, please contact us and we can try to rapidly approve fosters. Thank you all so much and Happy New Year!

A little Tiger update! He’s starting to gain some weight!

Sassy and Frizzy Freddie said they would love to go to a great home/homes in 2025! They’re so sweet and so much fun. These are also Sheba’s pups! Sheba is very loving and a great dog! Shiba inu and chow chow mix.

Sugar & Scottie are two of Sheba’s pups we still have here at Covey Hill, along with their brother and sister, Sassy & Frizzy Freddie. They’re the sweetest babies and I can’t believe they haven’t been adopted yet. They’re Shiba inu and chow chow mix. We also still have their sweet mama, Sheba. They rarely ever bark, which is typical Shiba inu. We also have Reames, lab mix, who also still needs a home. He’s full of energy and personality. If you give him some water to play in, he’s the happiest. Please share in hopes to get them a loving home. ❤️🐾

Busy day today at Covey Hill! Tiger and I are taking one last walk before it gets dark. He’s doing great and we’re getting those worms out of his tummy. He’s the sweetest baby!

Tiger did great at his vet visit today. Besides being wormy, he just needs to gain some weight back and be neutered. He got a little treat of peanut butter ice cream in Plains, like all the Covey Hill dogs get when they go to the vet. Thank you to everyone at Veterinary Services in Plains. They always take such great care of the pups! ❤️🐾

Somebody come adopt this crazy boy! He jumped the fence and his AirTag wasn’t reachable and then he runs back with THIS so proud of himself. Where did he get a deer leg? Somewhere on these 26+ acres. He’s energetic and adventurous, that’s for sure! There’s never a dull moment with Kruze in your life. Please let us share this joyous boy with someone special! 😃❤️🐾

He’s very dramatic about playing with his toys, but especially his trucks! Aunt Diane got him one he can’t destroy.

Petey says he’s done exercising. 😂 I think he fell asleep too.

Walking with Sissy to get her scent in the area where Bud showed up yesterday. I’m hoping Dot will follow her scent. Not sure if this will work but we have to keep trying.
