I have made the agonizing decision to retire from rabbits this spring.

I will be posting my brood does as they wean litters.

Once empty, all cages & supplies can go.

I’ll be hanging onto my favorite show potentials and showing them until Nationals in Texas then letting them go also.

I hope to see as many of my rabbit friends as possible at these last upcoming shows.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made these years memorable.
You will all be missed and in my thoughts. ❤️

D4 Eclipse picked up 3 BOB & 1 RIS in show B.

If only it was a doe.
I pulled out this handsome boy today.

He has short stumpy legs with outstanding width & mass. I can fit my entire hand between his front legs.

He’s going to be a BIG boy. I’m on the fence on keeping him. I don’t need another brood buck but he’d add mass & bone to does lacking it.

2023 Holland Lop Nationals was an amazing experience.

I traveled with Kaden McAtee Lindsay Shaver & Latrinda Anderson to Columbus Ohio. (Flat tire on the trailer was the highlight of the drive there, thank goodness)

This was the largest show the 4 of us had ever attended. We were in awe of the beautiful rabbits. it was wonderful to meet all the outstanding breeders we’ve looked up to since starting our Holland Journey.

I was honored to receive Best Opposite of Breed with D4 Rabbits Eclipse.
This beautiful doe’s sire is out of 2 Murphy’s Lops rabbits. Thank you again Dyan Murphy for producing these rabbits. They’ve made a huge impact on my small herd.

Congratulations to Charlotte Swade for earning BOB with your broken Jr buck.

Congratulations also, Lindsey Szczepanek on earning BOV Solid & Dyan Murphy BOSV Solid.

On our return home we ran directly into a tornado in the Davenport area. Softball sized hale and high winds. At one point the Freeway was closed down.
I’m glad we made it home safely.

Now onto preparations for Convention.

Ps - Arrived home to 3 solids in the nestbox from repeating this breeding.
