Just over two months ago, our friends at JND pallet liquidators llc discovered three tiny, one-week-old kittens in need of urgent help. Thanks to a bottle feeder who stepped up right away, these babies got the love and care they needed to thrive.

Today, in the sweetest full-circle moment, JND is adopting one of the very kittens they helped save—our girl Pickles! From fragile beginnings to a forever family, she’s proof that rescue is a team effort and love always finds a way 🥰

Congratulations 🥳💜

Her two siblings will be shared soon, stay tuned!

🚨🚨BUT her brother Larry is still missing in Sylvania (off Erie, by Highland Elementary). He has been missing since August 5th and hasn't been seen on their cameras in weeks 😔🚨🚨
Larry (then Tigger) is a grey tabby and has half a tail - very noticeable! he is fixed and microchipped!!

From the family: We live in Tantallon. Our house backs up to the Michigan line.

Chocolate Dip & Boston Cream 🍫🍩
Two sweet treats looking for their forever home—together!

These darling girls are officially off pregnancy watch and ready to start their next chapter! Chocolate Dip and Boston Cream are the final two of nine rescued from a Michigan animal control, where their former owners were threatening to release them outdoors—a heartbreaking and dangerous fate for guinea pigs. Thankfully, they were saved just in time.

Now safe and thriving, these girls are bursting with personality! They adore gentle pets, love to chat with their people, and have a soft spot for cozy hideouts and snack time. Chocolate Dip is the curious explorer, while Boston Cream is the mellow snuggler—but both are sweet as dessert and deeply bonded.

They’re looking for a home where they can stay together, be cherished, and never worry about safety again. Could that be with you?

Don’t let her RBF fool you—Sunny Day was simply not in the mood for paparazzi. Behind that serious little face was a purring, playful girl soaking up love from her brand-new parents!

Her new family saw past the sass and fell for her sweet soul. Now she’s headed home and will have a new cat brother!

Wish Wednesday: Tuna 🐟💫

Tuna tilts her head and whispers with her eyes: “Will you be my forever?”
She’s the last of twelve we rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding case in spring 2024—and she’s been waiting 556 days for someone to say yes.

Tuna is soft as a cloud, playful as a kitten, and so full of love it spills out in gentle purrs and slow blinks. She adores attention! Whether she’s your one and only or joins a gentle cat friend, she’ll bloom with companionship. We believe she’d adjust to dogs too, with kindness and time.

She’s been so patient. So ready.
This Wednesday, we’re wishing with all our hearts.
The Kings got their wish now lets find Tuna’s forever.💜

Birch & Little Richard: Best Friends, Braver Together💚💙

Some friendships are forged in fire. Others in bottle feedings, vet visits, and quiet moments of trust. Little Richard and Birch have been through it all—side by side, heart to heart.

Little Richard, a bottle baby with a heart as big as his purrs, is the kind of cat who rolls with anything: dogs, kids, being held, and cuddles. He’s sunshine in feline form. Birch, his quieter counterpart, is more selective—he’s not a fan of hyper dogs, loud little ones, and not a fan of being held but loves attention, and we respect that. He’s earned the right to choose peace.

Birch has just cleared a major medical milestone. His brother passed away from panleukopenia, but he never contracted the disease; he had other underlying problems.
After constantly being sick and on medications, it was found that he had a polyp! So he had a partial polyp removal, a CT scan, and rhinoscopy surgery, our vets have finally given him the all-clear. He’s been brave through every step, and while he may take a little time to settle in, having Little Richard by his side makes all the difference.

They’re over a year old now—past the kitten chaos, bonded like brothers, and ready for a home that sees them not just as pets, but as survivors, companions, and a reminder that love heals best when shared.

If you’ve got a quiet space, a gentle heart, and room for two best friends who’ve already proven they’re stronger together.💞

Orbit 🪐
Orbit is the quiet mystery of the trio—a little void kitten with a calm presence and a tender heart. He’s the most willing to be picked up, often settling into your arms with surprising ease, but he’s not one for long cuddles. He prefers gentle company and quiet respect, making him a lovely match for someone who understands the beauty of soft connections.

Unlike his brother Eclipse, Orbit isn’t a fan of dogs and prefers his space when they’re around. He’s observant, mellow, and content to watch the world from a cozy perch. While his siblings may bounce and meow for attention, Orbit’s affection is quieter—earned through patience and kindness.

Eclipse 🌑
This little void kitten is pure cosmic charisma. Eclipse is adventurous, playful, and fiercely independent—he’s the kind of cat who explores first and cuddles later. But when he does want affection, he’ll let you know with a confident meow and a motorboat purr that never seems to stop.
