Through her we came to learn about the needs of rescue dogs and also the importance of good nutrition for them. Because we are careful about what we feed, we started making all of our own treats. In wanting to give back to the rescue community, we started donating our goodies to help with fund raising for various rescues. Mitzi's Munchies has since evolved into healthy decorated treats in addition

to our regular treats. We continue to support rescue through regular donations of both treats for auctions and a portion of our sales.

Introducing our new CEO, Allie aka the Flea. After much discussion with the staff, KD, Dahlia and Rhetta decided to bring on a new manager. We are not ready to do cookies just yet since mom and chief baker tore her rotator cuff. We are hoping to be back to baking for Valentine’s day.

I wanted to have some baked up for photos but my dehydrator died.🙄 I was going to choose two flavors and then 6 cheeseburger twists but I am going to let you choose your flavors!

$15.00 plus shipping starting at $8.50. Package includes your choice of two 4oz treat flavors and 6 Cheeseburger flavored twists. I accept payment through PayPal and Square.

JUNE TREAT ORDER-SEE UPDATED TREAT ORDER POST!
I will be putting together a treat bundle for June with 2 4oz treat flavors and a specialty treat. The specialty treat will be cheeseburger twists. What flavors would you like to see for the 4oz packages? Past flavors have been chicken stew, turkey sweet potato, blueberry honey nut, coconut pineapple, peanut butter pumpkin, cheddar apple turkey bacon, sweet potato apple, carrot cake, strawberry banana, peanut butter banana and apple parmesan.

Please comment what sounds good or if there is a new flavor you would like to see.

I have leftovers from baking this weekend. I am offering 5 8oz bags with a mix of these flavors: apple blueberry, turkey sweet potato, chicken stew, cheeseburger, apple parmesan, sweet potato apple and carrot cake. These are gluten free like my decorated treats. The cost is $10 per 8oz bag plus shipping. Please comment to claim, one bag per person please. First five comments will get them.

I generally take this part of the year off from decorated treats but still do undecorated treats in several different flavors. Would there be an interest in a monthly or bimonthly set of treats? I am thinking two 4oz bags of different flavors and maybe one specialty treat like a doggie biscotti. Price would probably be around $15.00 plus shipping. Please comment below if you would be interested. Also open to other ideas for a monthly treat idea.

This year will be a Peeps inspired Easter theme with bunnies, chicks, spring flowers and of course, Easter eggs! The flavor is gluten free peanut butter apple topped with doggy icing of an unsweetened yogurt base. They are available in two sizes 4oz ($8.00 plus shipped) and 8oz($15.00 plus shipping). Also available is a personalized Easter egg cookie for $3.00 plus shipping. Shipping starts at $8.50 and goes up by weight and destination.

I am considering doing a gingerbread bread flavor in addition to the usual peanut butter apple for the Christmas decorated treats. Let me know what everyone thinks and if you would like your treats to be peanut butter apple or gingerbread!

The flavor will be sweet potato will blackstrap molasses and a hint of cinnamon and ginger. Please comment below if you want to change or add to your order.

Christmas Treat Pre Orders

This year I would like to get treats out early so I am able to enjoy the holidays with my kids and grandkids. I am going to start baking the weekend of Thanksgiving so if you are wanting to order treats, I would very much appreciate preorders!
