I am posting this for a client who needs to re-home her dog which I currently walk. Please no comments regarding training or keeping him ONLY IF INTERESTED.
Meet this gorgeous cocker spaniel, Archie. He’s 13 months old, full of high puppy energy and love to give to the RIGHT owner. He’s a big cuddler and loves his people. He is neutered and up to date medically. He does have irritable bowel that’s managed by diet. He loves to play and he loves other dogs when introduced correctly.
People can’t invade his space too quickly. He is wary of strangers and will take a couple of meetings to warm up to someone but after that he’s a love bug. He can be skittish and nervous until familiar with something. He is professionally trained, but is still leash reactive. He needs a dog savvy person who will be consistent and continue to work with him. He needs a strong leader, more exposure to people, his own space to run and burn off that high energy. He is ACA - American Canine Association registered.
The trainer has agreed to do any introductions. He's had months of training with all kinds of methods. She is hoping for him to have a fenced in yard and a playmate. He'd do great too, with a confident dog to show him the ropes and put him in his place when necessary.
