The Dawg Hotel The Dawg Hotel is now open for business. At present we are offering doggy day care Monday to Friday, As I work from home, the dogs always have company.

After struggling to find local dog sitters whilst we go away, we have decided to offer our dog-friendly home to other dogs to stay here on their holidays! My two really don't like kennels, they much prefer the freedom and constant attention you get from being in a home. We are fully insured (up to £3,000,000 public liability via PetPlan) to dog walk and home board. We have a licence from NCC to bo

ard up to three dogs. You don't need a licence to be a dog walker, but you do need one if they are to sleepover. We are also offering dog-sitting services for weddings and events!

I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this, up at the lake past Whorral Bank. It is probably just harmless red algae but until i know for sure, I won't walk the dogs there. Northumberland Water aren't able to help as it's not their responsibility. The council have put me on to environmental health. If there is anything to be concerned about I will let you know. My two have shown no adverse affects, but I'd rather know for certain it's harmless. Bearing in mind it's a flooded coal open cast mine....

Bella & Lily's last full day so we took them out for a run at the Footie Fields. Lily is such a good little sprinter!

Gorgeous up at the lake today with Jack and his ladies... Ginger, Lily & Meg. Two swimming labs, two non-swimming collies! Met a gorgeous black Labrador-Alsatian cross, beautiful dog, but no desire to go swimming either!!
