Ethel Mae 💔 It has been a little over a month that my precious squishy went to be with Jesus. Ethel Mae had so many friends, I feel the need to post and let y’all know she has passed. On May 15th she woke me up having a seizure. I couldn’t get her to get up. I didn’t realize it at the time but she was blind and def at this point. Max rushed home to help me. We had to make a stretcher and our neighbor helped us get her in the car. She started seizing again at the Vet and the heart wrenching decision to allow her to pass peacefully and pain free was made.

I’m sobbing writing this. I miss my big squishy shadow every day. Ethel Mae is now with my Izzy waiting on me to join her one day.

Warning!!! Keep in mind what plants you put around your pups! This Madagascar jewel plant is very toxic for dogs and causes nerve damage!

A wedding and moving has been keeping us pretty busy. After about a 6 month break from fostering…we are back at it!

Let me introduce you to Miss Fancy! 🖤
She is an adorable clumsy 5 month old Australian Shepherd pupper! This sweet baby was surrendered to us when her owner didn’t have time for her. This poor baby was basically living in a crate the first 5 months of her life. Her little toe beans were stained brown from sitting in her own p**p and she was covered in fleas. She is such a sweet girl! She loves all of the other pups here and especially loves our teenage boys! She is enjoying learning how to be a pup! She will need a home with another pup to play with and keep her company. She will definitely need a fenced in yard.

Fostering isn’t always rainbows…

My morning:
Mercy escapes the back yard and runs into the woods—-Chase Mercy ✅
Such a stinkin follower! Mercy’s side kick!—-Chase Dyna ✅
Slice your foot open on some metal thing in the woods ✅
Lock yourself out and have to run around the house with no pants just as two neighbors decide to drive by 😵‍💫😵‍💫✅
Bust your ass in the woods ✅

🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️…while chanting to myself they are all worth it…I know they are but the level of frustration has me in tears this morning.

Fostering is definitely a calling and not always rainbows.
