🥳Our favorite big boy is turning 1 this Sunday!! 🥳 We had a mini celebration for him on Thursday complete with cupcakes and pepperoni rolls.

🐶Sven is a Leonberger and is currently 135lbs! He does a fantastic job of cheering us up on our hard days and we hear he is learning to become an excellent guardian of his family and farm. Dr Carson couldn’t be more proud of her sweet boy!! 🥰🐶

🥳Join us in wishing him a very ”Happy 1st Birthday!!” 🥳 We hope he gets lots of yummy treats!

UPDATE: Home, safe and sound!! Thank you all for sharing and looking for him! 😊❤️

Please be on the look out for this kitty! He belongs to one of our employees and escaped from home while she was at work today around 11:30am. His name is Ash and he is the Tabby with white belly and paws pictured below. He is Neutered and microchipped. He escaped from Fitzgerald Ave/Lehman Ave, near the police station downtown. If you see him, please give us a call at 304-363-0930

We will be having a Rabies and Vaccination Clinic at Barrackville Elementary School on June 8th from 9am-11am. Reminder that this is a cash or local check only event. All cats will need to be in a secure kennel and dogs must remain on leashes at all times. If you are unsure what vaccines your pet needs please call us or your regular veterinarian. If this is the first time your pet will be receiving the vaccine, please be aware that some vaccines require boosters and will need to be scheduled with us or your regular veterinarian within the necessary time frame to ensure your pet is fully vaccinated. We look forward to a good turnout to help benefit the Busy Bisons 4H Club!

In today’s episode of Talk About it Tuesday, Dr Scott Moore will discuss your cat’s mouth and ways to keep it healthy. As we know, cats are independent and hide discomfort and pain more often than not. Dr Moore will discuss signs to watch out for in your cat that may indicate something may be going on inside their mouths that is causing problems. If you notice something is wrong, be sure to call your veterinarian and get your cat checked out.

We want to wish Aja the very best on her first day grooming at Clarksburg Veterinary Hospital today! While we are so sad to see her leave, we know she is going to be a wonderful addition to CVH!

Aja has been a wonderful employee for many years and has been a fantastic groomer! We have absolutely loved seeing her clients come out looking shiny and new. 🤩 She always took special care for each of her grooms and always brought out the best side of them making them the star of the show. We will miss her smiling face and her passion for every animal that came to visit.

At this time, we will no longer be offering grooming services. If you enjoyed this service and would like us to offer it again, please let our staff know!

We are heartbroken to report the passing of our clinic cat, Rocky. He has been a staple of love and affection for over 9 years and we cannot imagine him not being here with us anymore. Rocky was found in a car lot presumably hit by a car. Shelli, the amazing RVT that she is, made sure that he was cared for and received all the treatment he needed to be given the best chance at life. He lived with chronic health issues that we were able to help maintain. Everyday he showed us what an amazing and cool cat he was. He was our friend and companion and our Little Rock Star! 🌟 🐈‍⬛

Our sweet boy will be sorely missed.
We know he’ll be waiting for us at the end of the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈

🎉Please join us in a celebratory farewell post of our dear veterinary assistant, Angelina! She has been with us for over 4 years and has been an invaluable asset and friend to the FVH family. She has an amazing heart and has fostered many animals to help them get the best chance at life. Angelina works hard at work and at home as a mother to her kids and furbabies. You’ve likely seen her as a surgery technician or as a veterinary assistant. She also works with our CSR team on phones. While we all love our patients, Angelina takes a special interest in each and everyone that she encounters. She has impacted so many lives here amongst her coworkers and our clients and we are so sad to see her go!

💕We are so grateful to have had you with us at Fairmont Vet! We know you will do wonderful things at Clarksburg Veterinary Hospital. They are beyond lucky to have your experience, skill set, expertise, and heart! 💕

UPDATE: We are heartbroken to report that Poptart has been found but has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you to all those who helped search for and shared posts searching for him. Our deepest sympathy is extended to his owners on this unfortunate outcome.

Please be on the lookout for this sweet kitty who escaped from their owner on their way into surgery here today. His name is Poptart. He is an intact male, grey medium haired 1 year old cat. He was last seen on 8th Street. If you see him, please contact us at 304-363-0930.

🐈‍⬛It’s hard to believe this cool cat has been with us for 8 years now! He was found under a car in Anthony Chevrolet’s parking lot with some injuries and was brought to us to be treated and cared for. Shelli fell in love with him and has made sure all of his needs have been met and that he is spoiled like a king! He is such a cool clinic cat and we are lucky to have him! Happy 8 years as a pampered clinic kitty! We all love you, Rocky! 🌟
