This sweet girl Freya had been posted a few times over the last 2 weeks, at the time we didn't realize it was her. She would not allow anyone to capture her. Lucky for her she settled right into my neighborhood and a construction company allowed us to trap at their new builds. Last night we set up our Tomahawk trap and waited. She didn't show at her normal time so we tied it open and watched the camera. She showed up 30 mins later and was really leery of the trap but began entering. Overnight she visited several times going in and out. This allowed us to make sure she fit comfortably and allowed her to get comfortable and not hesitate to enter. Today she waltzed up even with kids out playing and the construction guys leaving the site, in she went around 235pm! Enjoy the funny pics of her stealing my blanket and the food bowl 🤣 side note - we never cover the tops of traps with a blanket for dogs but this case was special as we tried to keep the rain off the food, and she stole the floor blanket so we didn't risk her pulling it out and blocking the trap door from closing.
Welcome back to safety girlfriend! Thank you Johnny (ACO) for coming to get her from us.

Looking for a be**er truck just to haul our big traps when needed. Mechanically sound but doesnt have to be pretty, preferably with 4wd. If anyone is selling let me know.

Hey everyone! We noticed when someone else tagged our Google onto a post that we have ZERO reviews on Google. If anyone who has worked with us could go drop a Google review we would love that! Thank you for the support.

Lost from Saddle Ridge area 6/30.
⚠️Please do not approach, call out to, follow.⚠️
We have been able to find the general area she is hanging out and have a plan to try to trap her. Owner has tried calming signals and she bolts. Please report sightings via message to Greg Baker, Brenda Metcalfe, or our text line 222-8085.

Good morning everyone! Those close to me, or on my personal FB already know everything I am about to type but I've had a few followers ask me why I haven't been boots on the ground as much this year so I figured it's probably time I discuss it as a whole. Last year was very rough for our family and this year is on the same path.
It started off with my husband losing the most important man in his life, his dad.
My mom then took a fall shortly after and fractured her L2 which took forever to finally diagnose and fix. She is still having troubles from that fall.
In July we abruptly lost my 12 year old soul dog, Diesel. Those who know me on a personal level know that he got me through my toughest days. He had a mass on his liver that ruptured and we had no clue until it was too late. Frontier Vet was a god send that day and I will forever be thankful to them.
I thought things were on the up this year and we were finally getting back to finding a little joy. We adopted a baby dog, who we named Aspyn, from BDAR in February. The goal was and still is to eventually train her to track lost pets on cases that we need a track. She's wicked smart and loves to use her nose!
In March we noticed a pea sized lump on our 9 year old BDAR adoptee, Roo. Within a couple of weeks it had grown and we went to the vet to have it checked out. The vet thought for sure the biopsy would come back benign, but that was not the case. The pathology report came back as Histiocytic Sarcoma, a rare and very aggressive cancer. So we have been spending as much time as we can with him for however long he may have left.
Baseball season has now kicked off and both of our boys are now playing so it is also a very busy time for us.
I appreciate everyone who has stepped up to help, Brenda and Patty are still rocking it on the ground out there! I am so thankful for great friends! We've been able to coach a lot of owners this year on calming signals and how to be effective in getting their pet home without trapping! It's truly been a god send since I can't be as active right now as I have been in previous years. Thank you all and I hope you have a wonderful rest of 2025 ❤️
