Yes, ground bone is a normal & important part of our raw recipes! Bones provide minerals and other nutrients that dogs need. Not sure if the bone pieces is bigger than it should be?
Our spec for bone is 3/8". If it's larger than that, it may actually be a piece of malleable cartilage, especially if you find it in our Temptin' Turkey recipe.

More time: it's what we all want with our pets & what a diet change gave Fudge 🖤

With the help of my daughter, Briana and about a year of trying different foods, my daughter had me switch him to (XYZ Brand). He did a little better but we still struggled to regulate his blood glucose. In our second year of the disease she found Bones & Co.! We switched him immediately, he would rotate between proteins. He never snubbed his food, he was always excited to eat and we got to spend another 5 years with him. We checked his blood glucose regularly and he was stable with his diet and insulin.
Until the day he passed and even on that morning he ate his Bones & Co. like a champ! I tell people every time I get the chance Bones & Co. saved his life for 5 years when he passed from old age, dementia and just a tired little body. We had him euthanized at home with his fur brother and sister there to say goodbye. I truly believe if my daughter had not found Bones & Co. we never would have gotten the last 5 years with him.
