Meet Dixie and Dumpling. These 2 sweet young ladies are 7 months old. Before coming to us, they had never had any leash training or even been inside. Meet Matilda and Pru. The local shelter contacted us for help for these 2 girls. They are Great Dane/Mastiff mix pups and are now almost 10 weeks old. They foster says they are doing great with kennel training. They have had their first vaccines and we will get there next ones this week. Applications are at www.maxshope.com. We process them thoroughly so a complete application is required.

This little fellow is Teddy. He came from a breeder. This little fellow has heartworms and bilateral ear infections. He is still learning how to be a dog. He is very sweet and would greatly benefit from a foster home. We also have another small breeding dog that was also diagnosed with heartworms. She has finished her first 30 days of antibiotics and her first injection. If you can help with fostering either of these please complete an application at www.maxshope.com.

This sweet and Sassy little girl is Daffy(Daffodil). The shelter contacted us after this sweet 5 month old puppy had been hit by a car. She has a rear broken leg with both a straight, clean break and a spiral fracture right above the clean break. Doctor Dunn at Mansfield is working hard to make sure this leg heals correctly. We would love to have a foster for this sweet little lady who can spend time helping her heal. If you would like to foster Daffy, please complete an application at www.maxshope.com.

Meet Phillip.

This sweet boy was adopted as a kitten but unfortunately returned at no fault of his own. Phillip is now 3 years old and looking for his furever home. When Phillip was returned he went into a bit of a depression state and stayed clear of all humans. Now he is full of energy and showing us his sweet loving personality. Phillip is in foster care with other cat so he does mesh will with cats. We are unsure of his reactions towards dogs. He will tolerate children but when they become too loud he will run and hide, so having a “Phillip only safe space” would be ideal if adopted into a home with children. At Phillip’s request: You can skip all the cat toys, but he is requiring a cat tree placed in a window so he can people watch. It’s kind of one of his favorite things to do besides nap UNDER his cat bed. So if you can meet his 1 request, Phillip will be one easy going cat.

Phillip is UTD on vaccines, neutered, and FIV and FELV negative.

Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under. Also please check your information carefully. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative.

Adoption Process: This is not a first come, first serve organization. We will do our best to process applications within 48 business hours of receiving them. The application must be completed in full including first and last name, complete address including city and state, complete veterinarian information (this will be checked and all pets must be neutered or spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and dogs must be current on heartworm prevention) and the name of all current pets in the household. We are 100% volunteers and I will not subject anyone who is giving of themselves and their time to hostile conversations. Please be patient with us. We are not paid for our endless hours and are looking for the BEST home for the babies in our care. We will process your information and an email will be sent to the email you provide on the application.
