After a 3 year hiatus, we were able to go out and visit some of our friends in the Quakertown Area today.

When someone asks how Rudolph can carry Santa and a sleigh, it is always good to help people believe.

While Covid has stalled us a couple years thanks to some Santa Magic and the hard work of our own Mr. and Mrs. Claus, we will be able to make some visits and deliveries on Christmas Eve to seniors in our area.

We can’t take the same group we always have, but because of the generous donations in the past we have over 200 blankets to distribute. You all are the heroes that make this magic happen and put smiles on the face of so many

We do plan to be out in full force in 2025.

Hello to all of our wonderful supporters!!! We are planning to get back to action this year!! Missing the last two years has been very difficult! As of now, we will be collecting near the holiday season. We still are not sure about physical delivery. But we will keep everyone posted. Thank you all for your support! 💖

Little did Mr. and now Mrs. Santa know that 5 years ago, one cart of blankets would turn into multiple car and truck loads.

We may not be able to collect blankets this year, but the spirit is just as alive in 2020 as it was from the spark of this initial visit to pick up some blankets. A simple gesture of kindness for someone else may not show or be as visible in a way the giver expects. We can tell you from hundreds of interactions that the donation of time to visit and the gift of a simple blanket impacts more than just the the donor and a recipient. Your donations also has a direct impact on our volunteers, the staff at each location, and every person who learns about this work we all do each year.

ALL OF THE SUCESS AND GIFTS OF HOPE AND LOVE TO DATE WERE NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT ALL OF OUR SUPPORTERS AND DONORS. You all are the reason over 1,500 blankets have been collected over the years. We may not collect and distribute this year, but hope this picture of the first recorded shopping for blankets warms your heart this year.

While we are not able to collect blankets this year, we still are collecting funds via our PayPal link on WWW.TENDERHEARTZ.COM and every dollar will go to keeping the program alive and afloat until next year. We understand you may not have the resources this year, but if you do and are willing, a donation will be greatly appreciated.

Greetings to all our donors and supporters:

It is with heavy hearts that the Tenderheartz Board has decided not to collect blanket donations this year.

While the Board has worked tirelessly since July to address all of the logistical challenges, it has become apparent Tenderheartz simply cannot safely proceed with our usual collections and distributions in 2020.
In lieu of contributing to your community alongside Tenderheartz, the Board asks that you independently outreach local nursing facilities and ask what you may be able to do to help them directly. We ask that you keep residents and staff alike in your attempts to bring cheer to their lives this year.

The Board thanks all of you who have supported and donated in the past few years. Our volunteers are also in our hearts during this time.

Please share light and kindness safely this season. Tenderheartz looks forward to 2021 when we can all be together again spreading cheer.

Some of our wonderful friends have been asking about plans for 2020 Blankets and Distribution.

The board has met and we are working very hard to try and confirm if the plans we have to shower love and kindness to our annual recipients can still happen but in a different way.

Our goal is to try and honor the essential health workers and all facility staff, while also spreading love and care to those we normally visit. The final process involves how to best serve all and keep our most vulnerable healthy and avoid us putting them all at risk.

Please keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks. The board hopes to be able to share our plan and how all of our supporters (near and far can help in 2020).

Good luck to all those returning to school this fall (however this may look like for you) and know that Tenderheartz wants to provide support and not create another burden to you.

HELLO FRIENDS!

We see so many people doing things for others and we LOVE OUR ESSENTIAL FRIENDS and we THANK YOU FOR BEING OUT THERE!!!

Be gentle on yourselves and others.
Everyone is dealing with this in their own way.
We will all get through this and the best way to help each other is to offer love.

New and different things are coming at everyone so fast and in so many directions. We on the Tehderheartz Board are facing things like Furloughs, new homework situations, fun with finding ways to lift up others, so we want to send love your way.

We look forward to when everyone can get together again and next winter when we can deliver love disguised as blankets. Until then, we will just stay socially distant and present and share Some Good News!

As we enter a second week at home for many people, we encourage all our friends to reach out to some older or more vulnerable community.

If you know of anyone you can call, please try giving the, a call. Being alone and isolated is hard for us even when we can venture out, but being alone and unable to go our or visit people even at proper distances can be hard.

If you are able to share some kindness from a distance, please do so. For all our friends still going into work or to individuals homes or stores, THANK YOU!

If you know of workers who are still going out to work each day and those on the front line providing care, send them some love and text them each day or even give them a call. Many of us are told we are essential, but the medical staff and first responders go when they are called and many times can not decline.

Stay safe friends, until we can see you all in person again.

Packaged up blankets to send to Australia for the koalas and kangaroos. So sad what's happening over there, but grateful we can help a little.... Thank you to our volunteers that were a part of this! And thank you Perkasie Rotary for setting up the connection!
