If you’re travelling through the Lewis pass and see a dog that maybe ACE or resemble Ace

# Time / Date
# What was he doing ?which way did he go
# Report it to 021 111 1177 ASAP

PLEASE .. do not chase .. do not call.

ALSO note there are probably 15 other dogs in that area that closely resemble Ace.. which are pets and working dogs.

Don’t just assume it is Ace.. I have seen before people chasing innocent dogs that resemble a missing dog .

Remember there is a lot going on behind the scenes .. but we do need sightings if you have one … THANKS for your help and support!! 👍

Warning - toxic milk powder

This may be a funny photo of a dog powdering their nose, or possibly giving their best Colombian druglord impersonation, but did you know that calf milk powder can be poisonous?!
Many calf milk replacers contain 'coccidiostats' which are there to aid control of coccidia (an intracellular parasite) in calves. The problem is that these coccidiostats are toxic to other animals including dogs, cats, sheep, goats, horses and other unintended species.
Symptoms may include weakness, wobbliness, or tremors and in severe cases death may result. Make sure you know the contents of your milk powder, keep it out of reach of other animals and only feed it to the intended species. If your dog or another pet ever gets into milk or milk powder containing coccidiostats call us at the clinic as soon as possible.
