Anyone who has ever visited my home (or at least for the past 10 years) has had the pleasure of meeting Frankie, or Uncle Frank or Big Frank - the love of my life and the most awesome cat ever put on this planet in my opinion. He bathed every incoming kitten, allowed babies to try to nurse on his tummy and rolled over for every visitor to give him tummy rubs.
In April of this year he was diagnosed with intestinal cancer and I have had him on meds to give me more time with him. Unfortunately the time has come to say good-bye to him as he has lost half of his body weight, doesn't want to eat any more and has more blood than p**p in his stool. He sleeps all the time and hobbles around like an old man.
To lose him is going to wreck my heart and my soul and I honestly don't know what I am going to do without him singing back when you sing to him. His euthanasia is scheduled for 11:30 on Monday morning. I won't have much to say to anyone that day so if I go silent please just say a prayer for me. I'm having him cremated and his ashes returned to me - I need to have my baby boy home with me to one day be combined with my ashes. Here are some pics of the most handsome man....
