Charlie Chopper is a 10 year old, sweet, affectionate, neutered male who enjoys walks and snuggling. He has a great temperament and has an average energy level. He is blind but gets around just fine. He needs to have his food, water bowl and bed kept in the same spot. He is up to date on vaccinations. Living with a blind dog is not as difficult as you may think. There are small things you can do that will mean the world to the animal.. such as placing textured mats next to the door(s) (so he learns where the door(s) to go outside are), put a mat where his food/water bowls are and block stairs. He would make a perfect companion.

One Love Animal Rescue Group Inc. Rescues senior dogs whenever we have an appropriate foster parent willing to foster.
Some of the dogs do stay in the rescue for a while. ALL the senior dogs are on supplements (dietary and medication) to help with arthritis which is common in the Seniors, they have special beds and toys to keep them busy.
Periodically we need to replenish the items our seniors need.
Diva is a blind lab mix she is 13-years-young and was pulled from ACCT Philly 7 years ago. She is loved and well cared for in her foster home and has always been available for adoption.
