Made with 100% natural ingredient, comfrey leaf extract, olive oil, and ti-tree oil.
100% natural and made by myself, it is a specialy blended mix of specific amounts of quality olive oil, cosmetic grade coconut oil, ti tree oil and comfrey leaf extract. By using oil as a base ive eliminated the use of it involving water, many toe lickers share this same common ailment; it can often be caused by
a yeast infection Candida Albicans, which thrives in warm moist conditions. This product is due to the problems we had with our dog zeb, zebs licked between all his toes on his front paws for about 4yrs, on one paw he licked so bad it became a crusty weeping wound, in the wet spring & winter some days he could barely walk, we've spent loads of money at the vets for numerous products that didnt work....when we finally got to a SMALL bottle of steriod spray that worked but cost us $90!! I did hours of internet research & narrowed the problem down to a yeast/thrush type infection brought on by warm moist conditions, so warm toes + the saliva from licking = a perfect breeding ground....Surely i could come up with something that was cheaper, natural & best of all something that worked....so adapting a product i already made, i trialed my oil, within 2 weeks he'd kicked the persistant licking.....now a 8 weeks later im proud & glad to say his paws are lick free & itch free. Comfrey Symphytum officinale, is a plant that was used by the Greeks over three thousand years ago. During the Middle Ages, comfrey was a popular remedy for broken bones. Comfrey's most important ingredient is the substance, Allatoin. Allatoin is believed to be a cell proliferator, able to strengthen skin tissue and help heal ulcers, hence its use in ointments for skin problems. The tannins and rosmarinic acid are responsible for the anti-inflammatory action of comfrey. The dark green colour indicates the richness of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll acts as a catalyst, to promote healing within the body of man and animals. Scientific research shows that chlorophyll helps to rejuvenate old cells and promote the growth of new cells. TeaTree oil is pure oil of the tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia). It acts as an immuno stimulant i.e. it will help spur your immune system into fighting any disease or illness. Tea tree oil has antiseptic, antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The terpenes in the oil help repell insects which is why its found in many insect repellants. Extra virgin olive oil moisturize’s, soothes and promotes healing, it repels external moisture from the skin and still allows normal functions of the skin (such as sweating, shedding of dead skin and the release of sebum) to take place. Its antioxidant properties make it additionally beneficial to the skin. Coconut oil is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Coconut oil is particularly effective for rashes caused by underlying yeast problems. The active ingredients in Coconut Oil are Caprylic Acid, Capric Acid and Lauric Acid. These medium-chain saturated fatty acids are potent antimicrobial agents. They kill bacteria, viruses and fungi by causing their cell walls to disintegrate. Caprylic acid is one of the medium-chain fatty acids which has been used for quite some time in fighting Candida yeast infections. Caprylic Acid is so successful that it is extracted and sold as a natural anti-fungal on its own. Capric Acid is the second medium-chain fatty acid. According to a studies, Capric Acid causes the fastest and most effective killing of all three strains of Candida Albicans tested. Capric Acid disrupts or disintegrates the plasma membrane, which leaves the cytoplasm disorganized and shrunken. In plain simple english words it kills Candida! The third saturated fatty acid, Lauric Acid, was the most active at killing Candida at lower concentrations. Coconut Oil contains 50% lauric Acid and is the most abundant natural source of lauric acid available. It acts by disrupting the molecule membranes in organisms like fungus, bacteria and viruses, thus destroying them. Useage:
