Meet Rooster!
He was found as a stray estimated at 6 months old with a damaged infected eye. No one is quite sure what happened. He was found at the shelter by a foster family who took him to get his infected eye removed. Then he was adopted by a family for one year who returned him after he developed storm anxiety from being outside 24/7. 😡
So he went back to the foster family for ~6 months and then was adopted at ~2 years old. He's still afraid of things with small motors so the leading theory for the eye loss is an accident with a w**d wacker 🙁
The amazing part of this story is the loving foster family that embraced Rooster not once but twice!
They cared for Rooster and knew his issues weren’t a death sentence… they found a perfect forever family that now provide Rooster an amazing, loving home! 🥳
