At Canterberry Stables, we're passionate about providing a natural and nurturing environment for our equine friends. That's why we've chosen to create a herd environment with in-out shelters in our night paddocks rather than traditional stables. We believe this approach allows our horses to:

The workshop is suitable for beginners who would like to start learning about horses and also for those already on their journey with horses who would like to learn more about horses, about connection with horses, and about safe horse handling basics on the ground.

This is a fundraising workshop for Dassenberg Horse and Dog Rescue Center to help them with the incredible rescue work that they do!

This winter has been one for the books !!!
The relentless rain and cold weather have made for a hectic and challenging season. The horses have had to endure muddy paddocks, flooded arenas, and biting winds. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure their comfort and safety, often battling the elements to provide the best care possible.

Despite the difficulties, the horses have shown remarkable resilience and spirit. They've splashed through puddles, snuggled into warm blankets,(some horses) and enjoyed the occasional burst of sunshine when the clouds parted.

As we look forward to the arrival of spring, we're grateful for the lessons learned and the bonds strengthened during this wild and unpredictable winter.🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
