To all of our many friends and customers: Thank you for shopping at The Spotted Cat Company and for your wonderful comments about our site and products. You, collectively, made as fun for us as we hoped it would be for you.

For a host of reasons we've made a business decision to permanently close The Spotted Cat Company. We are happy to announce that in the nearly 2 years we were open we were able to give thousands of dollars from the proceeds of sales to the various animal rescue and animal welfare organizations we supported.

We urge our friends and customers to continue to support those grass roots animal welfare organizations that directly assist animals in need. They all do such wonderful work and most do it on a shoestring budget. Although The Spotted Cat Company is gone, we who worked here have each vowed to continue to be involved with animal rescue on a local basis.

To each and everyone of you Dr. Diane, Spott the Cat, and the staff at The Spotted Cat Company Thank you again and wish you the very best!

Merlin the Magician!

Beech Brook Farm Equine Rescue rescued this little guy because he has a bum knee and no one else would take him. Merlin is a miniture horse. Recently, a woman who volunteers to help seniors adopted him and this photo shows his first visit to a nursing home. The woman in the wheelchair perked up and kept telling Merlin "I love you". How sweet is that?

The Spotted Cat Company has added All Animals Matter, Inc. to the list of animal welfare organizations we support each month. They help pet owners on limited or fixed incomes, with the cost of spay & neuter surgery and in many cases provide pet food as well.

We are proud to to help them help people and their pets during these tough times! Check out their website for more information.

All Animals Matter is a Chenango County spay neuter assistance program. It also offers a pet food bank, pet food for low income residents and other types of assistance for local residents.

Dr. Diane LOVES monkeys and can spend all day at the San Diego Zoo watching them play. The babies really are the coolest - The Spotted Cat Company is really happy to be supporting the zoo's conservation program!
