How important is it to teach boundaries?
This could save your dogs life! I can open the door on a busy street with barking dogs and hissing cats, but Punk knows until he's unclipped and given the go ahead, he isn't allowed to leave!
Sounds like a really simple thing, but I see so many people struggle with this! Learning boundaries and impulse control is so difficult for a dog, but so worth it!
We have worked on this since he was a puppy, using positive reinforcement and encouraging the waiting behaviour that I liked!
