After placing/fostering almost 500 dogs in forever homes, one of the toughest things for me is wondering. Wondering if I did what was best. Did I make the best decisions for the pooch? Is she/he happy? Safe? LOVED? Cherished?...on & on......wondering. That's why updates like this make my heart pitter patter so happy, knowing this one doggie was so adored and spoiled! " Hi Adette. You probably don't remember me but I adopted a male brindle Boxer from you. Kelley was working with you with him. His name was Hanz. He was a flashy brindle and about 1 to 1 1/2 years old. He had a level grade heart murmur and you guys were willing to take him back but I was already in love. We lost him to vesticular disease and a brain tumor on May 22. He was a cherished and much beloved member of our household and we loved him very much.
He is back home with us and we have a china cabinet that is used strictly to honor our passed loves. I want to thank you for trusting me with him and for allowing me to have five joyous years with him. There will never be another one like him.
I know that he wouldn't have had a chance in this world if it wasn't for people like you and your organization that gives these strays off the streets a chance. Thank you for all that you do. God Bless.

Hanz, or as we called him, Hanzie"
