We are 100% Non-Profit and solely depend on YOUR DONATIONS! Blackjack Animal Rescue & Catahoula Connection is a 501c3 organization. Our primary mission is to rescue catahoulas, catahoula mixes and other breed animals from kill shelters in the southeast. We are an all breed rescue currently utilizing foster homes. Our primary goal is to reduce the deaths and suffering of animals that we are aware o

f in our sphere of influence. This is accomplished by providing rescue and spay/neuter, as well as providing needed vet care. We are always in need of foster homes, fostering saves lives. Our precious boy Stitch had his neuter and unfortunately he has some post op bleeding. We are working on getting him some needed vitamins and things to help build his blood back up, his post op blood cell count was low. We will have to take him back for some more blood work. Update, he had an urgent care visit yesterday and we were able to get the meds he needs! Prayers needed as well!

Even more amazing, we were able to adopt Benji, Chloe, Finn, Garfield, Lola, Maggie, Max, Sasha, Waylon and Willow! Thanks to all the fosters who were able to help them find their fore...

Happy boy that sadly no one wants…….over 2months ago this scared terrified guy came into our shelter as a stray with what appeared to be a brand new collar….no family came for him even though we thought for sure he would be heading back home soon. After realizing he wasn’t getting claimed we gave him the name Griffin. Griffin started to realize too he wasn’t going back home. Griffin has now spent over 2 months at our shelter with not one single inquiry. Griffin is such a handsome boy that wishes so badly to be apart of a family soon….. Griffin seems young at around 1yr old and weighs 51lbs. Griffin seems fine with other dogs, but a meet and greet would be best if other dogs are in the home. Griffin needs each and everyone to share him as you could make a difference in helping him capture the heart of someone willing to change this boy’s life. Griffin has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines. Griffin’s adoption fee is $95 cash or check. Griffin is available for adoption and to 501c3 rescues. Our hours to come and meet Griffin are Monday, Tuesday, Friday 10-2 and Saturday 10-3. Someone please give Griffin the true happiness he needs in being with a family.

Please support www.Blackjackrescue.org with this Christmas Wreath and fall bulb sale. We are unfortunately unable to get our annual calendar completed this year and can use your support. I will tell you that getting this wreath is now a must have for my Holiday season. They are beautiful and boy do they hold up! I did not take mine down til the end of January…..and it still looked great!
