Please welcome Joe to DFW French Bulldog Rescue! Joe was surrendered to DFW French Bulldog Rescue after his previous owner's workload become too much. Joe came into rescue with a cherry eye that has been removed. His ear was also giving him trouble but he has had in-depth ear cleaning and feels so much better. Joe is a high energy pup who is very excited to zoom into his forever home!

From Joe's foster parents: Joe is a sweet and lovable little boy. He loves snuggling with his foster parents for hugs and scratchies. Heā€™s playful and full of energy and loves to play with other dogs. His favorite game is playing tug of war with his humans or chewing his stuffies. When Joe first came to his foster parents, he did not know any commands nor was he potty trained but he has quickly learned. Joe is now potty trained and waits by the door to signal heā€™s ready, as well as learning how to sit and stay.

Welcome sweet boy!

Please welcome Bandit to DFW French Bulldog Rescue! Bandit was a stray that came into a local animal shelter with Dottie. This handsome man is as sweet as a button and has been wiggling his little nub for his foster mom every chance he gets. Bandit is being introduced to potty training but you clearly canā€™t hold a grudge with this handsome smile. Bandit has been running with his foster friends around the house and in the backyard. We are hopeful heā€™ll gain interest in toys soon! We are still learning more about his personality but we canā€™t help but have already fallen in love with this sweet teddy bear. Welcome Bandit!

Please welcome Dottie to DFW French Bulldog Rescue! Dottie was a stray who is brought into a local animal shelter. After her owners never reclaimed her, we were contacted to assist with her care and finding her forever home. When Dottie came into the rescue, she had cherry eyes to both of her eyes that have since been fixed. We are still learning more about this sweet girl. We do know that she enjoys following her foster mom around the house and is slowly decompressing into her foster home. Dottie has been quiet and to herself, she hasnā€™t quite shown interest in her foster friends yet. We are so excited to love on her and learn more about her personality as she settles in. Welcome sweet Dottie!

šŸ Happy Lunar New Year from now, Alumni Tank! šŸ§§

He wishes you and your family a year full of belly rubs, treats, and endless love! May this new chapter in your life bring you all the good fortune and happiness you deserve. This handsome young man has beat 2024 after being dumped in an alley, paralyzed in Lancaster, Texas. Amazingly, his spirits were never crushed after months of working with the president and vice president to get his mobility back. Amazing donations from you guys from wheelchairs to drag bags also allowed him this opportunity to be able to run and fetch tennis balls like a dog should. Tank found his way into his foster parent's hearts and after much discussion, they wanted to start off the Lunar New Year with him officially a part of their family. Tank's already started this year off with a bang, and he wishes you all a prosperous year ahead, filled with cozy naps, butt wiggles, and the best adventures!

Turbo has been adopted and has found the most perfect home for him in Montana! This sweet, handsome old man has lived a life of neglect living in a backyard and being used for breeding. The years of abuse resulted in the need for the removal of both of his eyes, a heavy heartworm treatment, and medications for his skin infections. Turbo now has the opportunity to chew on a tennis ball, give endless kisses to his parents, and snuggle with his fur siblings. Turbo has mapped out his new home and has mastered the stairs when it's snuggle time on the couch with momma. We are eternally grateful that Turbo had this opportunity for this endless, unconditional love he deserves! Happy tails, Turbo! ā¤ļø

Lucky easily weaseled into his foster family's hearts and has been adopted. Lucky has an advanced heart murmur and though we know his time is limited, we are so lucky to have found a family whose hearts are as big as theirs. Lucky gets to play with his furry siblings, his foster friends, and most importantly, snuggle with his human siblings. Lucky is so loved and we are grateful that he had this opportunity for endless love! Happy tails, Lucky! ā¤ļø

Welcome back Muddy! Muddy was returned back to rescue after she wasn't getting along with the other dog in the home. Muddy has been booted from two homes in less than a year. She had been given to her previous owner and when her family was moving into an apartment with a dog limit, Muddy was surrendered in to rescue. We had hoped Muddy would have found her forever home when she was adopted back in July, unfortunately, after having to defend herself from the other dog in the home, Muddy's family felt it was best she come back into rescue. As Muddy settles back in, we'll know more about her new personality. At this time, Muddy is cautious around her other foster friends, she isn't comfortable with being smelt or her personal space being invaded. Muddy has been quiet and is grieving the loss of yet another home. We hope she opens back up soon to show us her warm personality that we once knew.

Please welcome Lilo to DFW French Bulldog Rescue! Lilo was surrendered to rescue after her owner was no longer able to financially afford the care for her allergies. After we received Lilo, we found that her skin was in rough condition and had been irritated for a while. After seeing our vet, we found out that she is slightly heartworm positive. She is currently being treated for her heartworms along with getting her skin under control. So far Lilo has been calm and quiet. Though she has been doing well with her other frenchie, foster brothers, she has been more focused on staying tucked away under the blankets. We hope to provide her the comfort, love, and medical care she deserves. Any and all donations would be appreciated to help with her care.

Please officially welcome Aspen to DFW French Bulldog Rescue! The sweet boy was a stray in the community and a local animal shelter contacted us after his owners never reclaimed him. Aspen is a sweet and excitable pup. Whenever he is on a leash, he gets very excited and will bark at other dogs passing by. However, once off the leash, Aspen has been doing well with his other foster friends that are also frenchies, as well as bigger dogs. Aspen has the cutest underbite and he likes to show his little fangs. His foster mom thinks this is his way of smiling and showing his happiness along with his endless butt wiggles. Because of Aspenā€™s long and fluffy fur, he will need to be watched religiously during the summer heat. Brachycephalic breed experience is required. Aspen has been doing great with kennel and potty training. We have been working on exposure when it comes to walks on leash and jumping. However, we know that Aspen just loves to say hello. This happy boy is ready to find his forever home to give him endless belly rubs and running their fingers through his long locks!

Looking for a great, energetic dog to spice up your life and help with your New Yearā€™s resolution of staying more active than you ever thought possible? An accountability partner or personal trainer? Ron #3583 is your man! He is looking for a home within driving distance of Dallas, TX. If you think you might have that perfect home, please read Ronā€™s ENTIRE bio before making your next move.

Ron is the cutest, isnā€™t he? Donā€™t be suckered in by the cute face. Ron is an absolute WildMan. He has the energy of 5 dogs. Letā€™s put it this way: if Ron were a drink, heā€™d be an espresso shot - with a Red Bull chaser.

Looking for a sweet, quiet couch potato of a dog? Keep scrolling.

Enjoy ending the day with a little Netflix and a glass of wine? Not unless youā€™ve worn Ron to a nub with multiple walks/runs through the neighborhood or a sent him for a grueling day at doggy daycare. Only then will he let you rest. A tired Ron is a sweet Ron. It just takes a LOT to wear him out.

Want a buddy who will do agility or play flyball? Ultimate Frisbee? Running partner? Have another WildMan at home that needs a partner in crime? Ron is your man!

Work at a dog daycare and able to bring your dog to work with you every day? Have we got a deal for you!

Ron is actually a great dog! He is housebroken, crate trained, and is wicked smart. He also has endless energy. He absolutely needs another young, high energy dog to play with. -Preferably a dog bigger than him. We discovered that he LOVES playing with a herding dog at doggy daycare. He loves a good game of chase! How about kids, you ask. Well, are they old enough to keep up? If so, hell yea!

Only homes with a very secure, larger fenced yard will be considered. Ron has been known to fit through wrought iron fences. His foster mom puts an inflatable donut around his neck to keep him from making a run for it through the fence when they are at the dog park.

Ron is 25 inches from tip of his nose to the base of his tail. Although he isnā€™t a big dog, he is a long dog. Heā€™s too long to fit in a flight carrier. Yes, weā€™ve tried.

Ron is half Shih Tzu/half French bulldog. He is about a year old, weighs 20 pounds, is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and is heart worm negative.

Does your soul long for an adventure, challenge, and a best friend who will keep you laughing, running, and occasionally shouting ā€œRON, NO!ā€ Youā€™re in the right place. Please fill out an application at nbgr.org. Already have an app on file with us or have adopted or fostered for NBGR previously? Email Holly Pruitt at [email protected] to let her know youā€™re interested in The WildMan.

Vote for Alumni Turbo for Americaā€™s Favorite Pet! The winner takes home $10,000 and is featured on the cover of Modern Dog magazine! This sweet boy has been through the wringer the past nine years of his life and the amount of love he still has in his heart proves he is Americaā€™s Favorite Pet!

A little back story on Turbo, we were contacted by a shelter who had received Turbo has an owner surrender. Turbo is guesstimated to be about nine years old and had been living outside his entire life as a breeding dog. After his duties of breeding were done, Turbo was discarded. When we were contacted by the shelter for help, he had deep, unrepairable corneal abrasions to both of his eyes, had little to no eyesight, flea dermatitis, and was heartworm positive. Unfortunately, we could not save his eyes but we started his heartworm treatment and gave him the medical attention and love he had been deprived of. Astoundingly, Turbo does not let his prior past and trauma affect his ability to give the best kisses. Turbo is one of the most deserving pups of a happy ending. He is the most fit for demonstrating unconditional love. We cannot be more thankful for his wonderful family for loving him as much as we have and providing such a patient and warm home to this sweet boy.

Vote now and letā€™s give Turbo the recognition he deserves!

Delightful Turbo came from a neglectful French Bulldog ā€œbreeder.ā€ He required removal of both eyes. We adopted him from a Texas rescue.

šŸ¶ Happy National French Bulldog Day! In honor of today, we have a new friend weā€™d like you to meet! šŸ¶

Hank was surrendered to DFW French Bulldog Rescue after the family was moving and the spouse did not want him to come with.

From Hank's Foster Parents: Hank is a very sweet and curious boy with a special talent! Hank thinks heā€™s a human that stands tall on two paws and walks! He loves following his foster parents around to see what theyā€™re doing. Hank was previously crate trained however heā€™s had free range to the home since being with his foster parents and has proven to be potty trained and well behaved. He will patiently wait on his dog bed or blanket on the couch until they are home. Meal time is his favorite and has no problem vocalizing that you havenā€™t given him enough treats (or pets).

Hank would be a great fit for a family with or without children or other dogs. He can run around and entertain himself with a stuffie but also loves playing with his humans. Heā€™s a bit shy around other dogs at first and wants to sniff and watch but then opens up and would do well with another dog.

Hank is begging to find his forever home! Youā€™re able to apply here: https://dfwfrenchbulldogrescue.org/adopt

šŸšØ We urgently need your help! šŸšØ

We received a call last night about a 6 month old female was being surrendered to the emergency vet after her owners were not able to afford the cost of fixing her re**al prolapse. We have stepped in to take over her care for this emergent prolapse. However, along with the prolapse, she also presented with swelling to her back right leg that we need to address.

This is Stormy and she is currently being looked over by our rescue vet, Mercy Animal Clinic, to see how we can help this sweet girl. She is currently awaiting an x-ray and ensuring her purse-string suture that was placed last night holds! Emergency visits are not cheap and any further imaging or care will come with a cost! From last nights visit alone, we racked up a bill of $1,272.98, any donations towards her care would be appreciated!

Please consider donating to her care! Hereā€™s how to help:
