Are you passionate about animals and looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the zoo industry? We have an exciting opportunity for two fall interns to join our dedicated team and help care for our animals. You’ll have the chance to work with and around a variety of species, including cats, primates, birds, and more.
Internship Details:
• Sessions: September 1-December 31; and/or January 1-April 30
• Free housing and utilities provided
• Weekly $100 stipend
• Potential for seasonal full-time employment
Responsibilities:
• Feeding, cleaning, and caring for animals
• Building and maintaining habitats
• Enrichment activities for animals
• Assisting with training programs
Qualifications:
• Experience in animal care or recent graduate or current online student in an animal-related field
• Passion for working with animals and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
