Please welcome Dr. Veronica “Nic” Almoney to the Midwest Vet Service team in Miller.

Like many veterinarians, Dr. Nic knew she wanted to be a vet from a young age. “My plans were cemented when I became even more engaged in animal agriculture in college.”

Growing up in the industry, Dr. Nic appreciates the producer’s perspective. “I certainly want to help animals, and like my own family, I also want to support the farmers and ranchers, as they work to provide a safe and profitable food supply.”

“I want to be an asset to our producers. I’m here to serve as a partner and resource as we continuously look for ways to maximize cattle health. I am particularly interested in low-stress cattle handling and the impact it can make on the bottom line.”

Outside the clinic, Dr. Nic and her husband, Justin restore antique cars and enjoy taking them to car shows in new places. They also enjoy hiking with their dog, Kayah.

Dr. Nic joined Dr. Becky, Randi, Nina, Shantel, and Katie at the clinic in mid-July. Thank you for your continued trust in our team and please welcome Dr. Nic, Justin, and Kayah to our community.
