Good Sunday morning, everyone!
We thought you might enjoy this video capturing the serene beauty of our back 14 acres. As you’ll see, the wildlife seems to love our farm as much as our own animals do! It’s a delightful experience to review all the footage from our cameras and witness the antics and happenings around the farm.
On a more serious note, we are still aiming to meet our $500 donation goal. If you’d like to see our progress, please check the pinned post at the top of our page.
Your support means everything to us. We rely entirely on donations, and our dedicated volunteers ensure that every penny goes directly towards the care and feeding of our animals.
We would deeply appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you!

The best part of being a volunteer is getting to experience what true love and compassion is. Animals don't judge your flaws or hate you for some rumors they heard about you. After being at my day job all day dealing with humans i usually turn to the security cameras to see love and compassion from the animals daily because it's good for the soul. Today I couldn't help but to share what I get to watch daily.

I know we had many people message us and asked why they were banned from commenting on our last post with Huey and that just wasn't the case. On Saturday our admin team made the decision to shut commenting off on the post because we found ourselves having to block people for negative comments towards our animals and our volunteer team. We try to keep the negativity to a minimum for all our amazing supporters but with that video getting over 277,000 views there was bound to be some negative people and we just didn't have time to monitor the video and found it best to turn commenting off.
On that note, I bring to you a video I found as i was checking cameras of Huey after he is snuggled in for the night from a day out playing.
We are so incredibly grateful for all the shares of our posts that help us get our social media posts out there. We couldn't continue what we do for our residents if it wasn't for the continued support and believing in us like so many of you do.
Anyone else's horses just enjoy making all your hard work look like you didn't just make their stalls all nice and cozy for them? 🤣 it's their world we just live in it and wouldn't have it any other way!
We have been going through some old videos lately, and this gem of a video showed up. This video is from 2023. When I saw the video, my first thought was "wow they all looked cozy and happy" and it reminded me that we have always stayed focused on the animals.

Well I always knew we have to most amazing supporters. You all know how to remind us how appreciated we are. Last night I fell asleep with my phone in my hand trying to keep up with y'alls comment, and I was almost late for work trying to catch back up on comments. I've officially not been able to keep up with the show of support from you guys. I can't put into words how that makes all of us here at the rescue feel.
I'm going to leave you with the latest drama. Breakfast time at the barn is always full of the kind of drama we actually enjoy to laugh at and share with you. Here is Mr. Huey letting everyone know he is patiently waiting for breakfast 🤣

I always talk about how peaceful it is to be at the barn. I just got back home from my weekend visit, and I had a notification, so I checked it. Two weeks ago, it was coyotes this weekend it's a herd of deer. You never know what's going to stop by to say hi but as long as they don't cause us or our residents any trouble or harm, we welcome all furry creatures to stop by and say hi or take a rest.
I invite everyone to enjoy a peaceful Sunday morning on the farm
Horse people, what time do you get out to do your morning walk through to check on everyone? When I'm out on weekends, I try to do a late night and early morning walk through.
A little educational information for non-horse people. Big temperature swings like we have been having can contribute to horses colicing. Although we can't watch animals 24/7 we do what we can to check on them as much as possible because if you've ever had horses you know they can literally find any way possible to get themselves in trouble.
P.s.- Don't mind the mess by the door. I unloaded supplies yesterday, and before I could pick things up at the end of the day, I drilled a hole into my finger while fixing something so putting things away last night wasn't my top priority 😅
