Texas Sporting Breed Rescue, Inc. (TSBR), is a State of Texas non-profit corporation.

It all started with a dream that we could see a no-kill society in our lifetime and that one of the biggest hunting and outdoor enthusiast states in the US would embrace its Sporting Breeds and support our efforts in saving them. Driven by these hopes and founded by a group of dedicated volunteers, we set out on the "Mission" of Texas Sporting Breed Rescue.

As the year draws to a close, we reflect on the lives we’ve been able to save and the love we’ve been able to share—thanks to you. Texas Sporting Breed Rescue has worked tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome hundreds of dogs in 2024. From puppies to senior companions, every life matters, and every success story is because of your support.

But the need continues, and we can’t do it without you.

Here’s how your gift can help:

$65 provides six months’ worth of heartworm prevention for one dog.
$100 provides vaccinations for one dog.
$250 covers spay/neuter surgery for one dog.
$500 supports emergency medical care for dogs in critical need.
$1000 provides heartworm treatment for one heartworm-positive dog.

Every dollar you give goes directly toward saving lives and giving these wonderful dogs a second chance. Your donation is also tax-deductible, making it a meaningful way to end your year on a high note.

This holiday season, we’re excited to partner with Cabela’s for our annual “Wrapping for Rescue” event! From December 14th through December 24th, our dedicated volunteers will be at Cabela’s in Fort Worth, TX, offering gift-wrapping services to shoppers. All proceeds will directly support our mission to rescue and rehome sporting breeds in need.

How You Can Help:
