Kelsi was one of our rescue dogs that just couldn’t seem to find a home in TX. She’s a great girl and we knew her people were out there somewhere. We put her on transport to NY and she’s now found a wonderful family! TY Schoharie Valley and her new parents. 🥰🐾

This precious girl lost her mom to illness and we really weren’t sure how she would adjust to adoption. She was so timid and fearful. Well were we wrong! The Pruitt’s took her on a home trial and very quickly decided she was a perfect match for them and her fur sister Millie. She is now Honey (formerly Summer) and she has blossomed with her new family. She’s walking great on a leash, loves having a doggie friend and per her new mom “she adores us and it’s mutual!”
Good reminder to us that once they get in a home they can do a complete personality change!

UPDATE 8-3-24 — So when the surgeon got in there it was determined the issue was not as thought by the X-rays. It appears that Ruby likely had some untreated injury in her past that has now caused severe arthritis in her elbow. She was given some plasma injections in the joints while under and will now just be treated for the inflammation/pain for the rest of her life. Have attached the invoice below for these services as the amount was less than first anticipated. This girl has all the bad luck. She’s already got a chronic pancreatic condition that requires a lot of special meds and food. SO thankful for her loving fosters Danna and Chris. 🩷🐾🩷

It’s a BIG day for our Ruby June! CBLO surgery today to repair the left leg. She’s been through a lot in her relatively short life but she doesn’t let that cloud her sunny disposition. Her recovery and rehab will be a long and slow process so her foster parents are doing as much as they can to assure it goes off without a hitch. We could use some funding to help cover this surgery…it’s not cheap ($3500) Maybe you could commit your coffee or dessert budget for today to Ruby’s case, we’d be most appreciative. We’ll keep you posted on her progress and as always, thank you for supporting Ninja Paws Rescue!

Stormy is a beautiful, petite, medium haired dilute Torti. She is 1- 1 1/2 years old. She was found dumped and pregnant in a neighborhood feral colony, but very obviously wasn’t feral. Stormy has now been spayed, chipped and is up to date on all vaccines.
She can be shy at first, (she hid behind a bathroom door), but with a little time, she warms up nicely! She loves pets, tummy rubs, and her brush! She comes when called now and has adjusted wonderfully to life in her foster home. She gets along well with the male cat and she follows him and wants to play. She would do well with other friendly cats. We have not seen her around any dogs yet.
She is very sweet, and would make a wonderful companion. Her adoption fee is $100.

Cam is a big hunk of a puppy. He is so sweet and good natured. He is 4 months old and loves to play in the water and with his friends. He’s doing great at potty and crate training. Cam loves kids and true to his breed, will be a good nanna dog. We are estimating that he will be 90 lbs when grown so while large, he is extremely calm and gentle. Come meet him!

Yay for Hazel! She was found as a stray. She did have a chip, but the owner declined to take her back. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Her loss was her new family’s gain! Hazel was adopted by the Merchant family and is having a ball with her new fur sister Penny. She’s so lucky to have been chosen by them! ❤️

Otis here! Still waiting for my forever family. My foster mama went out of town and my babysitters could only say what a good boy I am. I am super silly and smart. Some of my favorite things to do are sit outside, chew my bones, and ,of course, give hugs. Can’t forget to mention that tummy rubs are the absolute best! I am potty trained and enjoy my crate - I call it my “zen time.” I am about 1 year old with very pretty markings - at least that is what everyone tells me.

UPDATE: 6/28 - Clara was hw negative! However they did find and remove a mammary tumor. 🙏 for good lab results on it.

We are in need of some donations! First we took in a litter of 5 Great Pyrenees pups that were covered in stickers (thank you so much for foster Tracy’s patience in bathing and sticker picking). They are all going to have to have all vax, microchips, and spay/neuters.
Now yesterday we took this older 10 lb poodle, now named Clara. Clara was COVERED in fleas, in heat and in terrible need of a dental. Plus all shots, chip and hw test (fingers crossed for negative). Who knows how long that poor girl had been out in the heat on the streets before a caring animal lover saved her.
These babies will get all the care they need, but your help would be greatly appreciated!

Emma is as sweet as honey!

This 3 year old girl found herself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter for no other reason than being in an overcrowded. She has shown us time and time again how appreciative she is of being saved.

When I say this girl is perfect - she is perfect! Great with dogs, cats and kids and has a very sweet, calm demeanor. She gets the zoomies when she is playing in the yard and loves playing with toys. Emma is potty and crate trained with no bad habits. She has a very submissive nature and plays great with all dog types. She is about 50 lbs and has eyes that will melt your heart! If you’re looking for a special girl, look no further!

Beautiful Duchess is a 6 month old girl that’s so full of of love and extremely smart. She adores other dogs and kids and doesn’t mind the cats at all. She will be medium size when grown and already mastering potty and crate training.

These two 5 month old cutie patootie songs came from South Texas where they had little hope after being discarded. They are the absolute sweetest pups and love to be held. They will be medium size when grown - about 30-40 lbs. Johnny & June do amazing with everyone - dogs, cats, kids. They are definitely a Heinz 57 on breed but we can tell you that they are precious. If you sit down, they will find a way to wiggle into your lap for all of the loving! They are doing great at potty and crate training and are going to be such super additions to a family!

We are looking for foster and/or adopter for this precious girl. Her name is Summer and she’s a 13 lbs Pom/Chi mix. She is about 4.5 yrs old and sadly just lost her owner to cancer.
Summer is very timid and would do better in a home without larger dogs or small children. She is fully vetted and housetrained. Prior to her last home she’d been abandoned in a yard full of junk for a long time. We aren’t sure if she’d been abused or just terribly neglected, but either is the likely cause of her fear of people until she gets used to them. Once she knows you she is very loyal and loving.

FORT WORTH - Meet Otis! He was found on a country highway and no one has claimed him. We aren’t sure about his breed and welcome guesses! He’s being fully vetted tomorrow and will be ready for his forever home.
He seems to have been in a home before as he has no accidents and knows “sit,”. He’s less than a year old and does well with other dogs other than some resource guarding. That trait is common with rescues as they have usually been hungry a lot when on the street.

🥜❤️ Adopt one of the Nut Pups ❤️🥜

These two 4 month old pups were found as strays in central Texas and made their way to us. They have amazing, sweet personalities. They have already mastered the doggie door and are doing awesome at potty training! This group is extremely good natured and calm and we haven’t seen any bad habits. While they are young puppies, they are pretty perfect in every way! Cashew is a boy and Hazelnut is a girl! We are guessing they are hound/black mouth cur and will be about 50 lbs when grown. Hounds have the best personalities - calm and lazy and sweet! Come fall in love!

FORT WORTH - Thanks to the kindness of people this girl was saved and now needs a home. We’d love an adopter, but a foster offer would be great too!
Stormy was found in a feral community, but it was clear she wasn’t a feral. She was just hungry! She’s now been to the vet and is spayed (she was pregnant), tested FIV negative and is vaccinated. Although she’s very shy, she does seem to love cuddles. She just needs to be in a home where someone can have patience while she gets to know you.
She is very young - likely 6 mos to a year at most and only weighs 4 lbs.

Happy Tails to Navi, the blonde one (formerly Lucy). Lucy was found dumped in Bonham, TX. Thanks to good citizen Kerry Carmack they both were taken to safety.
Lucy has now been adopted by Sherese Bishop and husband and will live a very exciting life! They travel the US and live and work out of their RV. Nava has a doggie brother and even a kitty sibling. She’s going to love going on adventures all over the country we know!

Meet Miss Skye. She is from a litter of puppies that were found at a homeless encampment and brought into rescue. FORT WORTH -

Could you spare a couple of weeks being a pal to Frank? His foster had to leave town on an emergency and he is miserable in boarding.

Frank is a sensitive guy who attaches quickly. He is loyal and loving and would do great in a temporary foster home where someone is home most of the time. He is crate trained and fully housebroken but loves a little outdoor time too. If you work from home and look for a reason to get up and out, Frank is your guy. Frank does well with other dogs but might prefer being the only one during this brief period.
