🐾Sadie and I had a great one-on-one session at Menards today! This girl has grown so much confidence, focus, drive and impulse control over the last 2 months since meeting her.
Today was only her 2nd public outing with me for training and did great being “off leash” with lots of loud noises and distractions. I am SO proud of how far she has come💕

Happy Sunday pet parents! As your week begins, your pups may need some extra mental stimulation while you're away at work.
Frozen lick bowls are great for high-energy, anxious, and young dogs. The awesome thing is all dogs still benefit from them! Here is a simple bowl I put together for a client, before giving you the rundown here is a little backstory on this sweet German Shepherd.
She is 4 years old and a rescue from a dog fight ring. She has skin/issues mainly due to allergies and anxiety. She is settling well in her new home but still has lots of fear about simply acting like a dog. She is quite underweight and has a chicken allergy. Our goal with this specific bowl was simply stimulation and extra calorie/fat intake after burning off lots of energy outside. Her anxiety causes her to chew her stomach, legs, and feet.
Items in this bowl and their purposes:
-Peanut butter: Full of fatty protein for weight & muscle gain, natural peanut oils for skin.
-Plain Oats: Digestion, skin, coat & organ health.
-Kibble soaked in hot water: Extra calories, adds moisture to prevent dehydration.
-Plain unsweetened applesauce: Calcium to support bone & muscle health, vitamin A, and vitamin C for immune support, and fiber for digestion.
