Kumfy Tailz has taken proven gel pack technology for humans and incorporated it into an apparel line. Every Kumfy Tails coats and harnesses includes a Kumfy Pax gel pack that is non-toxic, reusable, and easy to use. Simply insert the Kumfy Pax into the pouch to warm and/or cool your dog in extreme weather conditions. The Ultra gel inside the Kumfy Pax helps to maintain its desired temperature longer than other gel packs. Kumfy Pax heat up in the microwave in seconds or freeze flexibly. COMFORT AND FIT:
Every detail of our products have been designed and tested to ensure maximum comfort and a good fit for any size dog. Thermal fabrics compliment the use of the Kumfy Pax gel pack, and also allow for stretch when dressing the dog. The elongated back strap will help eliminate spinal injury, choking, and alleviate pressure put on the trachea when the dog moves. The longer back strap also eliminates potential rubbing under the armpit area. CANINE PHYSIOLOGY AND DESIGN:
Kumfy Tailz products are designed according to canine physiology. The Kumfy Pax gets inserted into a special pouch that covers the dog’s chest and abdominal area, or the “core.” The core is where most of the dog’s cardiovascular system and major organs are. It is also where they have the least amount of fur and where skin may be the thinnest. By addressing the core the heart is better able to pump blood to the extremities (paws) helping to regulate the dog’s body temperature, which should ideally be between 101o-103o F.
