Hurricanes - ALL Lost & Found Pets Hurricane Idalia: Reuniting lost and found pets from Gulf Hurricanes. Experienced volunteer group, not associated with any shelter.

Our goal is to help pet owners find their pets that went missing during Gulf hurricanes. We are partnered with the nonprofit, PetFBI, which is the largest lost and found animal database in the world. https://petfbi.org We post pictures or information about pets from many sources, such as the local shelters and Craigslist, and we encourage the community to contact us with information about lost or

found pets. Our strategy is to pass this information on to the pet owners so they know where to look for their pet. If you personally lost or found an animal, register at https://petfbi.org

In cooperation with local officials and community partners, including Pinellas County and the City of St. Petersburg, the American Red Cross is opening an emergency shelter at Allendale United Methodist Church, 3803 Haines Road N., St. Petersburg, for anyone who needs a safe place to stay after Hurricane Idalia.
The shelter opened this afternoon, Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023. Anyone who needs a safe place to stay may come to the shelter.
People may bring their pets but should plan to bring a kennel and any supplies their pet may need.
For more shelter information, residents can go to redcross.org, use the free Red Cross Emergency app or call 1-800-RED CROSS (800-733-2767).

Last seen running towards the courthouse on West Green Street.
My daughters one year old male dog got loose during the Hurricane. He looks like a husky. He almost always is carrying something in his mouth. He's normally very sweet but he is lost and scared, so he may be act differently. His name is Enzo. We all miss him very much.
