Heibao (the black baby in Chinese) is a DDR, no one knows his actual age or where he came from. In September 2020, he was found on the street, wandering around aimlessly and hopelessly for a few days, until my friend took him back. At first, we thought he was a lost dog, we spread the news and hoped the owner to come and take him back. But his owner never shows up.   He was extremely friendly and beautiful. Everyone who first saw him loved him immediately. My friend asked me to find him a good family, as she cannot keep a german shepherd at pet shop forever. I fostered him for 6 days during which time I took him to travel with my own German shepherd. I fell in love with him and treated him as my own dog. I promised him a happy life. But he was not treated well in the first family. Three months later, I found he was chained outside the factory all day long with no shelter and no bad. I immediately decided to took him back and found him a new home – a home that can treat him as part of the family.   In April a friend of mine who also has German shepherd adopted him, his new happy life just began. But by the end of May he was suddenly parallelized because of CHD. It was heartbreaking news for all of us. The surgery for his hip replacement costs $160,000. We are dedicated to do the surgery for him. It is no way to see him living the rest of his life dragging his back legs around. He is such an adorable baby and deserves the best in this world.   We are raising fund to help offset the adopt family’s generosity of providing the surgery cost as well as provide the ongoing medical expenses. Please help to give him a chance to be able to walk again.   He is currently located at 上海申生宠物诊所 No122-124, Stadium Road, Qingpu District, Shanghai, China.   If you are able, please consider either a donation to this GoFundMe or share this post.
