Today Drone To Home start it's biggest campaign to recruit the largest active volunteer drone operator database in the UK.

We are asking new and experienced drone operators throughout the UK to click the link below and fill in our form. You will be added to our innovative volunteer database and live virtually mapping system that will allow us to get help much quicker to missing animal owners.
Whatever drone you have and whatever level of experience that's ok. Drone To Home will provide all the online training you will need, this will help our customers locate their beloved animals sooo much quicker.

It has been non stop with interviews this week with Phil our CEO and founder of Drone To Home.
Trying to raise more awareness of our services and explaining we are a charity not just about drones. Drones are amazing when used correctly but are just a part of how we operate.
We have an amazing call centre team and an innovative system for collecting missing dog data so we can understand dog behaviour better when they go missing.

Well what can the team say about today.
Horrendous circumstances for many with the floods, emergency services stretched to the limits so Drone To Home called in to assist with rescues.
This shows a community coming together against many odds to rescue horses, foals and cattle.
2 horses unfortunately deceased, 2 rescued, 1 from immediate drowning.
12 more horses monitored over 4 hours and 12 cows monitored as unable to rescue them due to safety. Assessed by a professional vet and due to location safer to leave them there for now.
Our hearts go out to the individuals and families of the deceased horses and all the flood victims.
Thank you to everyone who assisted today, especially the ones that went out into the boat to rescue those horses. You’re all heroes.

The side of Drone To Home many don't see but is all too real, especially when you love animals as much as we do.
It's been a very tough few weeks for us and an extremely tough day. Our hearts are with all the individuals and families who have lost their beloved pets.
Phil speaks for all the team at Drone To Home and an amazing team they are too. Rebecca and Laura are just awesome and every single volunteer is just extremely special. ❤️

Missing for 11 days in the heart of Bedfordshire this handsome fella was caught on his extendable lead in the same position for 11 days.
Checked at the vets and now home recovering ❤️
Through the wind and rain, our Chief drone happily flew to find him.
We all shed a tear on this one as we are all convinced he wouldn't have lasted much longer in that position.
We cannot tell you how pleased we are to find this dog and end 2023 on a high. However we also know many more dogs are still missing and our thoughts are with their owners.
2023 has been a challenging year and a huge learning curve at Drone To Home. We continue to strive forward and innovative how we operate and it's working.

Tissues may be required but happy tears only as this beautiful girl is now home.
Missing for 4 days and found within minutes by the thermal drone and our very experienced drone searchers.
Once the owner had been advised what to do you can see a calm approach always does wonders.
Not so clear on the normal camera but you can see the dog appear from behind the large container and walk straight to her beloved owner.
No hassle. No stress and the dog very happy to be in the arms of her family.

Well Drone To Home don't stop because Santa Claus came to visit. It's been another exceptionally busy week.
This little one is a Cockerpoo on his adventures. Missing for 6 hours in the pouring rain. Luckily Drone To Home have one of the very latest high spec drones that quite happily flies in the rain.
This cockerpoo went feral really quickly and was running from everything that moved. In the end a simple strategy of leave the car with the doors open and just walk away. As the person walks away the dog immediately goes to the car and jumps in.
The dog being watched at all times in case another strategy was required but no.
Drone To Home got it right again and the Cockerpoo is now safe at home.
