A new, incurable, highly contagious, and possibly fatal respiratory virus is affecting dogs in many countries, and has migrated to the US. This is a serious situation that requires our immediate attention and care.

Please avoid dog parks and social gatherings with other dogs, as the illness is extremely contagious. If your dog shows any of these symptoms, contact your veterinarian immediately.

* Chronic mild-moderate tracheobronchitis with a prolonged duration (6-8 weeks or longer) that is minimally or not responsive to antibiotics.

* Chronic pneumonia that is minimally or not responsive to antibiotics.

* Acute pneumonia that rapidly becomes severe and often leads to poor outcomes in as little as 24-36 hours.

I recently had to say goodbye to a beloved pet client at the Animal Emergency Hospital Volusia, and I couldn't have been more grateful for the compassionate care from the staff.

They were incredibly understanding and caring during such a difficult time. They were patient in answering her questions between the tears and explained the process of their cremation services with empathy.

They treated, Slip with the utmost respect and care, and wrapped her in blankets and laid her in a dog bed when I went to say good bye to her later that night. It was like no emergency hospital I’d been to.

I highly recommend this hospital to my clients, family and friends.

Shelby walks up to the car every single time we go outside. I take her outside at the beginning of our visit, and right before the end of our visit (about 20 min later). She darts out of the door like a bat outta hell and makes a beeline for the car. Then, she stands there waiting for me to buckle her in. She always looks so sad when we don’t get into the car. 😓

When parents go on vacation, I like to spend a little extra time with the babies by going for rides in the car!! We visit my mom, run around in her yard, eat some of her yummy food, go to a special dog park that no one ever goes to. We ride around with the windows down and sometimes, the slobber flicks right onto the car behind us. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Boss knows my car 🥰

My dear, dear wonderfully amazing clients, friends, and neighbors.

I am begging for help with finding this little girl/boy a home!!! Please!!! I am no longer doing the overnight visits at this home, so I don’t have the amount of access to the kitty. Luckily, my clients are amazing, and they are feeding him/her until we can get her adopted or get her to Ravenwood.

They can’t hang on to her because they have a dog who does not get along with other animals, and I’m in the same situation otherwise, I would’ve scooped her up instantly.

She has so much love to give, and it’s breaking my heart thst I can’t get more shares on this post.

Please help her find a home!!!!!!! She jumps in my car every night to eat her dinner. She’s living on the streets with no family. If I can’t find a home for her by the end of the weekend I’ll have to take her to the humane society.

She stays at a house near where I have been pet sitting all week, but tonight’s my last night here.

Good morning!! I need everyone’s help to find this baby a home. She is the absolute sweetest kitty, and she shouldn’t have to spend one more night without a family.

I parked my car and when I opened the door, she jumped right in. Luckily, I happened to have cat food in the car and fed her. A neighbor took her to the vet 2 days ago to look for a microchip, but she doesn’t have one. The neighbor says she thinks the kitty was left behind by an owner who moved away a month ago.

Don’t mind the mess in the car….that’s after about 16 hours of working. 😆

Summer is in high gear, and all overnight spots, 60min visits and 45min visits are completely booked through Aug 24th!! We still have spots open for 3 a day vacation visits (30min), but nothing for 45min, or 60min visits. Cats always have a spot, as long as arrival times are flexible, as we cannot guarantee exact times. Make sure to login to your portal to secure any last-minute reservations. 😍

My favorite snack: Healthy people food

My biggest fear: Thunderstorms, Wind (when windows are open), Fireworks, Frogs

My favorite thing to do: Sleep and hunt the small animals in my neighborhood. Raccoons and Squirrels mostly

My favorite toy: Empty boxes to shred

Do I love car rides? Yes!! Mommy HAS to take me to work with her, otherwise, I pout like a baby and ignore her when she comes home

Do I snore? Rarely, and not that loudly. I tend to cry

Where do I sleep? Wherever my brain says; bed, couch, my dog bed that’s in my mom’s closet, on the floor in the living room….

At night, I sleep on my mom’s pillow. I put my head on her pillow and push her over. At some point during the night I flip around and put my butt right in her face. There have been a few times she thought she was snuggling my face 🤢. That’s about the same time she started calling me Stinky Butt 💩
