Our family farm, located outside of Sun Prairie, is looking for the right person or people to join our team! The position focuses on caring for a diverse group of horses, young stock to geriatrics, including some mares with foals from time to time in addition to a resident stallion.

Primary duties will be: Stall cleaning, Some feeding, Turning horses out/bringing in, Some grooming, Assisting with veterinary care and farrier visits occasionally, Observing individuals for injury/illness, General farm/barn maintenance.

Horse experience preferred, must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs, this is an active job. Part time position. Morning weekday hours and Saturday mornings currently available. Must have a valid driver's license. This is not a cash position. We pay a competitive hourly wage to motivated people.

So this was a great day! It was rewarding and fun to be there with the horses. Honored to be able to give back and share Neumann and Venture with the residents. Hope to be able to do it again in the future! The horses were enthralled and so calm!

ISO: Barn help - Looking for the right person to help with general horse care - stall cleaning, turn out, feeding, some barn maintenance, etc. All ages of horses, including a well behaved stallion, mares with foals, yearlings on up to geriatrics. Experience with horses strongly preferred but will train, own transportation required. Part time, week days or weekends available, mornings for 4 to 5 hours. Pay based on experience. This past weekend marked the end of an era at our farm with the passing of this mighty little Arab gelding aptly named Nitro. He was 35 years young by my calculations and had been a patient of mine for 10 years but I lost track of when he moved to the farm to become part of the farm family. Feisty but friendly would describe him, a bit opinionated but overall easy to be around. Had a little trouble in that he tended to bite off more than he could chew when it came to meeting new horses so I sewed him up a few more times than the rest of the herd cuz he was scrappy. He found his niche with Neuman most recently. Despite his varied health issues as he aged, he always looked the picture of health - fat and sassy literally to the day he passed. He will be missed by many, most especially by Carla, who loved him best. Rest easy, little man.

Our farm is currently looking for help cleaning stalls, some feeding, turning out horses, etc. We have a 28 stall barn that is currently full of horses of all ages from foals to geriatrics. Opportunities to help with veterinary care of the horses as we have a veterinarian on site. We're located in Sun Prairie, WI.
Are looking for help on weekdays and weekend mornings. Horse experience and enjoyment is a must. Looking for a self starter who doesn't mind working hard with beautiful horses on a daily basis.
