Dear friends,

I’m reaching out to shed light on the recent devastating floods in Rio Grande do Sul. As many of you know, my wife and our beloved dog Benji, come from Porto Alegre, Brazil and witnessing the hardships faced by their home region that has deeply touched us. The past week has seen over 150,000 people displaced, with numerous casualties and countless missing individuals. It’s chilling to realize that just two and a half weeks ago, my wife and our 5-year-old son were there visiting family. I feel immensely grateful that they are now safe with me.

In light of this crisis, I’ve made the decision to allocate 50% of the proceeds from each artwork sale towards aiding the relief efforts through the BrazilFoundation. This organization is working tirelessly to support the people of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, in collaboration with the Luz Alliance Fund, supported by Gisele Bündchen, who also comes from the same state. It’s time….its been coming for a while as the sales just aren’t there.

I’m so grateful for my customers and followers but this year has been difficult to juggle work and family life. The days off I do have are now very active and hands on with my son ( and pups) and with big school looming next year I need to dedicate that “spare” time to him.

I have loved sewing and creating dog ( and cats, even a rabbit) accessories. I’ve love the photos and the friendships I’ve made through my little hobby.

Now I I’m not closing the instagram, I love all the great photos from my customers and if you happen to wear a CheekyChopShop accessory again, I want you to share and tag me!!!

And who knows I might have time to sew the odd one here or there.
