Coming this month "7 Dogs for 7 Veterans". Our program last year was a HUGE success and we are repeating it!

The dogs are ready! The "lucky 7" veterans receive 8 weeks of training, live online! They then go to our participating franchise locations where they receive their hands on training, with their dogs.

Ongoing support is available locally!!! A Top Tier K9 Certified Master Dog Trainer at their Top Tier K9 Certified Location.

Application process for veterans who are interested is coming soon.

It’s July, and while it's a fun month for celebrations, it can be challenging for our furry friends.

For new puppy owners, gradually expose your pup to fireworks sounds by playing recordings at a low volume and slowly increasing it over time. Pair these sounds with treats, toys, or other enjoyable activities to help them associate the noise with positive experiences.

For older dogs who have found fireworks unpleasant in the past, you can work on reconditioning their fear. In the meantime, create a safe space for them. Stay calm and composed, as overreacting to their anxiety can reinforce their fearful behavior.

Happy Friday!

Two questions we get asked daily about training:

1. Is my dog too big or small? No, we take all sizes and breeds!

2. Is my dog too old? No, a dog is never too old to train. They may have established habits that may require more patience and consistency, but in the end training can keep them mentally stimulated to improve their quality of life along with our Top Tier communication system!

PSA announcement: Dogs are smarter than humans!

With the Total Solar Eclipse coming in two weeks through the area we wanted to educate you that dogs do not need special glasses if outside as they do not look at the sun. They may become anxious during the event, but nothing more.

We are looking forward to assisting local shelters in getting people to adopt locally!

Did you know the average life of a mixed breed dog which is primarily in shelters is 14 years versus 10 years for purebred? They not only live longer, but look forward to a place to call home which will make them love you forever!

Go big or go home

We are launching a foundation (charitable contributions are probably a year out) that will work with our franchises to train shelter dogs and help them get adopted in their communities.

Top Tier K9 Corporate will take on the challenge of training all the folks who want to adopt one of these fully trained dogs. While we train the future owners using our internet learning system and our Virtual Reality Dog Training Center, our franchises will train the dogs in what is arguably the best dog training process on the planet.

Look for this to be fully up and running Q2 of 2024.

10 years ago, when Top Tier K9 started, one of our primary missions was to empty shelters (but not through euthanasia like is done today). 4.9 million dogs are euthanized each year in America. The vast majority of them have behavioral issues that our training process can fix. Match that trained dog up with a fully trained owner and we will not only be saving dogs, we will be creating new families.
