Our Journey !

Pups and Co. was originally started by Brittany in Wellington in 2016, its primary focus being dog walking and puppy sitting. Further on, Brittany moved to Hawkes Bay and adopted her own rambunctious dog who had a couple behavioural issues. While working on her dog’s (Gypsy) issues, she took on new clientele in the region exercising dogs and working on training and behavioural issues. One new fur baby in particular needed help trying to socialize! In the same year Brittany was doing her 4th year of study, which was her first year of level 5 vet nursing. Unfortunately she did not pass this, however she has other qualifications including but not limited to; Animal Welfare Investigations level 4, Animal Care level 3, Introductory Animal Care level 2, as well as a bunch of other smaller qualifications.

Pups and Co. has recently gone into a partnership with Brittany's friend, Stephanie. We both studied together doing veterinary nursing and share a passion for animals and their wellbeing.

We are currently working together to proceed towards the main goal, which is why Pups and Co. was started in the first place.

While we wait for the land to begin the home stretch we will be continuing our studies in business, animal behaviour and a bunch of other things. Brittany wishes to learn about all types of dogs, pet dogs, working dogs, orchard dogs. This will allow her to work with anyone that comes through the doors!
