We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately as the recent heat has made all our doggos need to be in shady spots and resting! 😴

We’re back, and with some slightly cooler weather on the way we’ve started to tackle the to do lists for all our paddocks!

Over the next few weeks we will be starting to tick off some of our jobs to prepare for autumn…first on the list and ticked off…new bench in south paddock and holes filled by the water tap! 🚰

🙏🏼 Please please do not allow your doggos to dig up the freshly laid stone 🙏🏼

After a busy weekend at Holly Lodge we wanted to let you all know that we are also expecting a very busy week with an event on in our training paddock (behind the cafe)

It means that our North Paddock will be noisier than normal…if you have a reactive dog or would like to have a quieter session please book our South Paddock

Please contact Emily if you wish to transfer a session to a different paddock

As glad as we are to see this beautiful weather it is very hot for all doggos at the moment ☀️

Please if you would like to rearrange your session due to the heat can you give us 24 hours notice, I will also be happy to move sessions to other times and dates 📆

After the last few weeks chasing our tails and not being able to keep on top of the grass growth in this crazy weather we called in the professionals!!

LOOKING FOR A RECOMMENDATION

Does anyone have any recommendations for mowing contractors…must not be agricultural tractor and trailed mower, only amenity specific tractors and large scale mowers.

Looking for our 6 acre field to be cut short, much like a football pitch/sports ground

Finalllyyy…the ground is dry!!!

Finnnaaaallllyyy…the ground is dry! Tacky, but dry! I’ll say this and now it will rain again, but for now, the good news is that the paddocks are drying up nicely 🙂

Lovely customers… As you may have gathered the fields are very wet! ☔️Please remember to wear sensible footwear and bring a towel for your doggos if you are visiting us over the festive period! 🎄 North Paddock and Bassingbourn are drier than South Paddock! Happy walkies! 🐶

Dougal found some baby moorhen chicks that had been separated from their mummy 🐥 We scooped them up and returned them to their nest and now Dougie thinks he’s mother hen! 😍
